Maturity and Love My friend and I were having a conversation the other day. It started with her saying "Shut up you know you love her and wanna have babies." To which I replied "Don't trivialize my love." She said something along the line of you can't be in love your not mature enough. I'm much more mature than you and I'm not mature enough for love. This go t me thinking and I know I'm very immature for my age. Ask any of my friends they'll tell you. But if you've read my journal you'll notice I frequently talk of a girl I'm in love with. I spent the whole night thinking about the conversation. I believe that when two people are in love they could be any age or maturity. If there is a maturity level for love what is it... Thoughts anyone.....

	Okay, so I've been thinking about this too (I was there shhh) and I think that I've changed my mind slightly. I think that love is based on maturity. However, maturity doesn't affect the ability to be in love, instead it affects the degree of love. For example, Kindergarten love is different than College Love, as long at the college student has the maturity of a typical college student. When a person is younger, the idea of "love" is thrown around very easily. You "love" one boy one week and another the next. However, as you mature your ideas about love change. You realize how strong the word and feeling actually is. Because you understand how important love is, it takes you longer to actually believe you are in love, and it takes you longer to accept love. So, I believe that you can be in "love" at any age, but for "love" to have a huge importance, you must be of a certain maturity level.
