It was attack of the snuggle-Iris today! All she wanted to do was sit in my lap and be held. It was a real surprise to me. She liked it when I rubbed the back of her head. When I opened Burby's pen, he walked out and went on his way. I decided to let him walk around for a while as I put food and water in his and Pearl's pen. (She's doing fine. There's still a scab, but it's getting smaller.) As soon as my back was turned, however, I heard the sounds of fighting. Burby and Florian had gotten into a scuffle. I separated them and continued working. They just went right back at it. I had to chase after them as they flared their hackles as kicked at each other. Eventually, Florian chased Burby into hiding behind the feed bin in the back. He's fallen from the top again. Plus his beautiful tail feathers got beat up. I quickly put him back in his pen. I let Powder out and put Diem in because her back was all beat up.
The Turks were fine, and Jenny behaved herself.

When we got out, it was raining. Freakin' RAINING. That means Ice tomorrow. Lovely. Anyway, when I went in, all the bowls were full and frozen solid. A fuse went out. I had to reset the fuse-box. The chickens were really thirsty and crowded around the bowls. Pearl and Burby are doing well. There's some new feather growth on Pearl's head. Still a scab, though. When I sat down, I tried calling Iris over, but she wasn't interested. Neither were Marcie or Stella. Just me and Skunk. She shivers a lot, and I 'm worried about her. When Dad was filling up the feed bin, Sophie tried to jump in, just like she used to. Dee tried too. SmarDee! The Turkeys are fine. Jenny has some missing neck feathers.
EGG WATCH! Day 6 *15 days left*
Ok, it's a day early, but I decided to candle them anyways. I GOTS FERTILE EGGS! I know four out of five definitely have an embryo, and one had a really think shell, so I'll have to wait on that. BUT BABIES!
