HALLOWEEN

Spent most of the day trick-or-treating and slogging through the Halloween roleplay. *sigh* it's even more of a grind than I expected. So, this morning I thought I'd start out with the dark elves. I should have chosen this race first, they have the coolest stuff by far. After playing for a little bit and bing frustrated by finding everyone dead (see yesterday's post) I finally figured out something: you get points for healing too. So I basically spent the rest of the game curing teammates and reviling up that way

So, I saw several people walking around with this really cool raincloud above there heads. I somehow got the idea that it came from the vampire faction (it made sense at the time). After maxing out on dark elf I became undead. This was a lot harder than before. Apparently vampires are solitary creatures and I couldn't heal anyone like before. But, I do eventually get through it and what do I receive for all my troubles? Just some lousy coffin! I'm currently playing the zombie faction, just to say that I did it. Don't know that I'll finish it though; they don't appear to have anything I want.

I wanted to go to the arcade but couldn't because of afore-mentioned stupid game. Basically the way I looked at it was: the pinball machines will be there tomorrow, the Halloween stuff won't. Anyway, I suppose I can sell whatever prizes I don't want.

On a lighter note: I think I got all the items from the trick-or-treating, including the giant pumpkin costume. (no, just looked: still missing the wand)

Anyway, in another couple hours this will all be over and we can go back to things as normal.


.....I hope, don't know when they start preparing for Christmas around here. Wonder if they even do Thanksgiving?
