HECTIC AND DISSAPOINTING

Wow! Um, really tiring day today! After hiking all over the village green taking out those defensive turrets I finally got a shot at the Gnome general! Even though I've gotten a lot stronger I still needed help defeating him. I can't believe he's a a gnome though, the guy's taller than I am! He had these like sharpened garden spades strapped to his wrists. You really had to watch out for those! After seeing there base of operation; it's hard to believe those gnomes aren't up to something! At least they won't be doing it for a while, it should take them some time to regroup.

So, after helping to defeat the pointy menace; I decided it was time to seek greener pastures. Quite literally in this case. So I headed over to Bill's ranch to see what trouble I could rustle up. As usual there were alarm-skeeters and fluffs to get rid of. Those pesky garlic jut kept getting in the way though. Man they stink! Purvis seemed to think so too, which is why he sent me out to hunt them. On my way out of the ranch Bill flagged me down, seems like he wants me to get some garlic for him too! Of course I agreed, I mean I might as well get two birds with one stone. Well, at least that was the plan. After killing all the garlic for Purvis, I still hadn't come up with the sprouts for Bill! Looks Like I'll be hunting them for a while longer.

SO after that disappointment I needed a change of scenery. Ok, so dead man's pass isn't the most cheerful place to go alone but I had my reasons. First I kinda wanted to test myself to see how strong I'd become. The last time I was here alone I got chased off in a matter of minutes. Glad to say that I lasted much longer this time. Of course I did take things slower too: resting up after each battle and such. Still didn't get anywhere near the top of the pass though. Anyway, the other reason I went was ingredient hunting. I found this pretty interesting recipe but it required required snake eyes (OMG claws too I think) and this was the only place I knew I could get them. Unfortunately, the hunting wasn't as successful as I would have liked. Of all the bootsnakes in there I only got an eye off of on of them! *sigh*

In the couple weeks since I moved here I've managed to save up a bit of money. I thought it would be nice to finish off a disappointing day with a bit of shopping therapy. Most of my time was spent looking for a pair of pants to match the shirt I was wearing. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything so I just went with some jeans that worked. I like the new look though, very trendy. Somewhere along the way I managed to pick up a few bottles of ink. I figured now was as good a time as any to visit the tattoo parlor. I looked around for a little bit, checking out there art samples. Still don't know if I'll get one yet, maybe another day...
