The strength in words


Alex's arm was looking weird,and he looked at the mirror, his arms and legs looked as though it came straight from a mikey mouse cartoon. Alex said "Wow this is weird, i feel more powerful, with all this power-" all of a sudden Alex's body began to glow and his body then took on form of a pencil, he had an eraser helmet, and his finger tips were like the tips of pencils. "Wow, this is different." Alex then flew off and went to the top of the clocktower. Takashi, who was walking down below quickly spotted Alex, but not knowing that he wasn't a bad guy, then ran into an alley. "Shia kah zing!" Takashi said. Takashi then disappeared into a flash of light and then a cloud of smoke followed. And who flew out? Xambler. He flew until he reached the tower. But he was roughly 40 yards away, just far enough for Alex to spot a black figure flying toward him. "What's that?" said Alex. Takashi flew closer and flew in a quick circle and created a small wind vortex. Then landed next to Alex, "Who are you?" asked Takashi curiously. "I'm not sure what i am right now actually...i've been this way since the other day...one minute i was chewing on a pencil, the next I'm floating above my bed." replied Alex. "Oh, well if you didn't know I'm the sherriff around these parts, and this is the clock tower i mourn on. But you know what? if you can manage to find how to use your powers, i'll let you in the Militia, you'll be enlisted specially as a Colonol Leutenant." Takashi informed Alex.

Alex extended his arm out to get a handshake, "Alex." he said. Takashi's arm extended and met Alex's, "Xambler." he said. Xambler showed Alex the basics of flying and that's about all he was able to. Then he waved good-bye and they departed. "WAIT!" yelled Xambler. Alex stopped and floated. "What is it?" he asked. Xambler then asked, "Do you know how to change back to a regular human?" The one problem with battle-cry-activated superpowers is that you need to figure out what triggered the transformation to the suit, or powered form. "Um, well i said power and-" Alex was inturrupted by Xambler again. "Alright, when you're ready, exclaim, POWER! and you're set to get back to Alex, go ahead try it, I'm gonna be right there when you begin to plumet." said Xambler who began to fly below him "POWER!" exclaimed Alex. He began to fall quickly. "POWERR!!!!" he exclaimed again. He changed back to the pencil formed mickey mouse character.

meanwhile...

A dark figure was walking down the dirt road towards Twilight City, Takashi was on his computer watching youtube(which is oddly still around during the 22nd century.) when his phone rang. Ring! Ring! he was also on AIM (which is also still around) and told Natalie, whom he was talking to, BRB(Be Right Back or BathRoom Break) and walked over to answer the phone. "Hello?" asked Takashi. "Xambler, there's a strange man that just showed up! he's blowing our men off the walls! and some pencil guy is here and he's drawing things that come to life and he drew a sheild, which's now protecting us! We need your help- " the man stopped talking, and the phone made the hung up noise. Takashi changed and ran to the wall. He spotted Alex and greeted him. "Hey, thanks for holding it up while i wasn't in." said Xambler sincerely. "Oh no problem but i think we should get focused on the current problem, and now call me Pencilman, i figured out a name so lead these men to stopping the guy over there!" exclaimed Pencilman. Xambler then ordered the vanguard to shoot missiles. Explosions were going around all over the dirt road. Fireballs continued to hit the wall. "Dang it... just fire the photon blasters!", ordered Xambler. Xambler then jumped over the edge and charged at the figure. Pencilman quickly got in front of Xambler and the figure punched Pencilman, then he flew into the wall and dropped to the floor. Xambler kept going despite his friend was K.O.ed then ran around the figure and created a giant vortex. Then the figure bolted to the sky and plunged to the ground fast. Xambler pulled out a silver revolver and shot three bullets at the figure. Blood splattered out from the bullet wounds. Xambler traveled over and pulled the hood down from the cloak to reveal a man around the age of twenty, black hair, brown eyes. Xambler looked away, and closed his eyes.

Xambler used his earth powers to create a hole at the edge of the dirt road. Then he picked the dead body up and dropped it in the hole. He dropped a fireball into the hole and let the body burn to ashes. He kicked dirt in and closed the hole up. "What a fool i was to shoot him, only to think he was dead... Bong, you fool..." Xambler whispered, he then walked over to Alex, he changed back, his clothes torn and his lip bleeding. He scooped him up and flew him to the town square, it was still light and Alex's mom ran forward and began to cry. "He's not dead, he's severely injured, take him to the hospital, tell them Xambler sent you, and give them this as proof." Xambler said breaking a piece of stone and shaping into an "X" Alex's mom nodded and ran off in the direction of the hospital. Xambler ran off and took casaulty count.

One of the worst parts of leading an army, and making friends within the force, is letting your soldiers go, and taking the fact that they're dead. As i've been leading the Militia, i've had to relize that, through all the tears, pain and sorrow. The toughest part is getting close then being separated.
