Four of our city cops killed in a year, this is insane. The one officer was shot fourteen times in the chest and was shot in the head. His partner was shot in the leg. About a week ago we were all talking about the female officer who was killed by that driver fleeing in a stolen car. I am at a point where I don't have the words to say what is on my mind, I am not even sure of what to think. And they are so determined to bring Casinos here? Is that really a good idea? Will that really make things better for us?

How will that benefit anyone but rich folks from out of town? With our number of homicides, outdated gun laws, gun violence, drug wars spilling out into the streets, shortage of police and response units, it only adds up to self destruction.

I would like for these thoughts of mine to be seen as pessimistic views instead of reality.. maybe in the future..
