Normal P.O.V [From Here On Out]
May's palms began sweating heavily as she was already all the way backed up against the hospital door, according to how fast she slides against walls. What once was "Ray" was indeed no longer present. Which forced May to began having panic attacks. "What? Who's hoshi? What the hell are you talking about?!?" In the back of May's mind, she only wished to desperately know what was truly going on. But even she knew she couldn't grasp that concept. As this "Hoshi" person smirked at May's un-easiness and confusion, instantly May fell to the ground while holding her stomach in a terribly tight matter. As if, someone had just punched you right in the gut.
"Why, what's the matter Maylin? Having trouble taking over such a light body? Indeed, we have grown old. How troublesome." Hoshi frowned, and grabbed May in such a way that if she had pulled any harder, May's arm would've snapped off instantly. "Maylin? I'm not such person! Leave me alone! Ughh.." May did not seize the pain in her gut, because she slid once more back to the cold linoleum floor in defeat. "Why does it hurt? My body's all tingly, what the hell...is..going...on.." And as her head slightly slide back towards hoshi, her eyes closed very softly. Like a feather in the wind. May's hands slid off her stomach and laid motionlessly on the floor beside Hoshi's feet. Hoshi frowned again at the sight, and put her hands on her hips, and yelled, "Maylin gosh darnnit! What is taking you so long? We have things to do, you know!"
"Oh I Know, So sorry..." Came a slight laughter that curved on May's face. "Oh, finally you whipper snapper!" Hoshi breathed out. "You need to catch up on your words, it's so in the future, come on Hoshi, seriously." Mays body stood up in a sassy way, a way May would never stand. Her body had curves that did not belong to her, but what seemed to be an older woman, a very young older woman. Her hair was slightly fluffed at the tips, and her eyes gleamed red with lust of blood. Not only were her eyes enough, but what laid under May's mouth, was a sheath to hold her fangs with-in. "I had to call you as soon as possible, Maylin! I feared we would never speak again." Hoshi sat down, crossed legs and folded hands, on the hospital bed. "Oh Hoshi, I have missed you just as much, ma'dear! Have you heard?" Maylin's head slid forward. "About the world on the other side?" Hoshi looked down at the linoleum floor in disappointment. "Aye, our home indeed. Is coming to a dreadful end, I spoke to the Queen of Immunity..." Maylin sat next to Hoshi, patting the sheets softly.
"Oh, but Maylin, she is on the side of Light! How were you able to travel to her?" Hoshi looked at Maylin with her bright purple eyes of concern. "Well, I had to endure quite my fair share of burning lights to speak with her. She had told me, that this world was close to burning, and so our world would fade along side it. How terrible it was, when she spoke with her wide white eyes." Maylin twiddled with her fingers. "Mmhm? What else did she speak of?" Hoshi nodded. "She spoke of a chain, that she had been looking for. That was a key to the survival of not only our souls, but the ones who carry us with-in themselves." She glanced at the body she had in her possession, and slightly smiled, with her crooked lustful glare. "Oh! You mean our other selves?" Hoshi put her pale hand over her mouth. "Indeed, you are correct Hoshi darling. The Queen said she planned to find this key, who was, from the prophecy that a psychic from the far hills had sent her, was suppose to be formed on a child of pure innocence. And so, what I think, if I am correct, that she plans to 'Get rid of anything in her way' to reach this key, do you understand Hoshi dear?" Maylin tilted her head.
Hoshi understood, and well at that. "I do, I do Maylin! But I thought the Queen of Light was suppose to be of innocence! Why a child, if I may ask?" She moved over to the foot of the bed, holding her stomach. Grimacing at what thoughts, no one could possibly guess. "A child, because the fact, it is still one. A child is made up of innocence and power of magic far beyond the power of the Queen herself. Something she can only dream to taint. But she knows, she held this power, far before. But not any longer. She knows the world needs to be restored with empathy and innocence. But she cannot do it, no Hoshi dear, she cannot. So she needs this child, and maybe she can save the world on the other side, and this one. We stand before." Maylin had a kind of silence that disturbed Hoshi greatly. She would not speak, only stare at the floor, with her brightly red colored eyes. She was afraid. "Why do you not speak Maylin? It bothers me to no end. What's that secret you want to let go of?" Hoshi grabbed Maylin's hands in concern. "As a vampire, I should have none to fear, except fear itself. But...I am afraid, that one day, as an immortal soul, I will come to an end."
Hoshi knew this fear, with greater respect for it then she knew she had. she nodded. It was all she could do. "We have to leave, the souls are fighting back- Let's break now, Maylin. We shall see each other soon!" Hoshi grabbed Maylin's hand with a small smile. "Yes, Hoshi darling, soon, we shall." And in a moment, they closed their gleaming eyes, and breathed an air, an air that no human can wish to breathe. With a moment holding hands, facing each other, all the heavy empty space in the room, collapsed as so did their bodies. The presence shattered, and both lay on the ground with nothing left to say but chokes and gags. And they remained motionless. For a silence longer then what it should've been.
In the replacement of the presence that had left, came a new one, all too soon. That filled the room with black and darkness, that could slightly curl, the ones where when you sit in an empty room something behind and all around you makes you want to get up and run out of that room, for good. And even though the moonlight shed well in the room, somehow, if you were to stand in front of the abnormally large hospital window, you could almost say it wasn't shinning at all.
Once the room was filled with the eerie unknown presence, Ray's body had regained consciousness. "Uhh...Oh God...I feel like my spleen has just been ripped out...Jesus Christ, what's going on..now?" Ray put her hand over her forehead, which was sweating immensely. " I sense, something else..." Ray switched her light brown eyes around the room, scanning for another person. At any moment she knew that something would grab her, and do something terrible. But that, she was not afraid of. In the back of Ray's mind, what really frightened her, was that she knew whatever was in that room was dogging her. And it made that clear.
Ray lifted her fragile pale body up to a body mirror shoved in the corner of the room. Which the nurses forgot to remove. "What's that..in the mirror?" Ray spoke to herself in nothing but a whisper. As she traced her finger around the thick dusted mirror, she was reminded May was with her as well. "May!" She yelped, limping her way next to the face down girl. "May! May! Wake up! We gotta go! And far, far to! Wake up!! Please...please.." Ray shook her until tears streamed down harder then the presence laying around her spine. "What is that, thing? Um, who's here? Go away! Go away!" Ray shut her ears and scrambled to the mirror subconsciously. On her knees hard, she looked up to the mirror, face to face with a small child, who had her eyes.
"Who..?" Ray stumbled on her words, and choking on her tongue. She couldn't believe her eyes. "Ohhh...please help me...he's coming back! He's coming back!" The little girl in the mirror pleaded. Ray said nothing, only wide-eyed and disturbingly still. "HELP! He's coming home! He's coming home! He's going to use me! Please! PLEASE!"
And as loud as her pleads, came the small child's screams. Ray silently cried tears, that were similar to a scene, where you just find some poor girl, silently crying in the corner, no words to follow, no punishment done, but for some reason in every body else's laughter this child finds a reason to cry. It was a sad, and awfully scary moment. That somehow you knew, that you just want to lay your arms around this person, and tell them "It's alright." But you just knew, that it would only deepen a pain that was far from your own understanding.
"Why won't you help me? WHY? Please! Mommy's dead! And you can help me! Why won't you move? WHY? Whhyy? Help me!! Please..." The child began to soften her eyes and small tears streamed down, she seemed to plead in a way, deeper then just words. But she looked right into Ray's eyes, and somehow Ray could feel everything. Everything that she wish would go away, now. Ray began to stutter but no words reached out of her mouth. "Oh My God...He's Here, HE'S HERE!!! HELP ME!! HELP ME!!!" And as the child banged her tiny fists against the mirror, she screamed, and screamed. In a terror of pain and fear greater then any Ray knew of. She didn't know that their had ever existed such a horrible scream, and until now, she wished she hadn't.
Ray's eyes tried to focus somewhere else, anywhere, anywhere else. But the child began to bleed down her legs and her fists bled, and as the blood dripped down the mirror, Ray couldn't scream. She just couldn't. "HELP ME!!! HELP ME!!!" The child begged, and screamed in pain. "No...No..this isn't real...this isn't happening...no....go away! GO away! GO AWAY!!" Ray cried loudly in sobs and shut her ears. She banged her head against the mirror until her forehead began to bleed. Over and over and she to, was bleeding horribly as the small child. "I'm sorry...I'm sorry...I'm sorry...." Ray cried and slid down do the floor, and she repeated that to herself until slowly the screaming faded to moans of pain, then gags of blood.
The screaming stopped. Ray laid curled up on the floor, and the screaming still stuck to her head. "Is...is it..g-gone?" Ray reluctantly picked herself up, and stared hard at the mirror, which once was covered with blood, not hers, but the child's. She lifted her hand and ran it down the mirror, streaking it with red. "I...what...I was going crazy...y-yeah...I'm crazy..." Ray shook her head, then shut her eyes tight, once she opened her eyes the little girl returned, in the exact same position as herself. Her hand bloody, and against Ray's. She smiled, her teeth fallen out and cut gums and bleeding eyes, but she smiled. In her red over-alls and brown beautiful hair, beautifully bloody.
Ray tried to run, but her heart was all that moved fast. Her mouth dropped open and chocked on screams and words all to soon and tripped over fear. "I..I..Nghh...!!" Ray tried to close her eyes, but fear had possessed her now. The small child began to laugh, and giggle, and her child figure grew, and faded, into something else, something different. It formed into an older child, a child of fifteen, who Ray had come to realize it as her own reflection. "Ah...Ahh..." Ray closed her mouth, for even knew she couldn't use it.
"Your not crazy, Ray...No...your not crazy!" Said her reflection. Ray had never felt so scared, her arm still attached to the mirror, and stuck on like it had been nailed there. She tried to move her hand, but her reflection just crocked her head and smiled. And the more she tried, the more she bled, something was forcing her hand against the mirror, and it began to crack under her hand. Ray desperately tried to free herself but her reflection just laughed, a psychotic type of laugh, one Ray feared was her own.
The mirror cracked even worse, and soon it grew even bigger. The pain in Ray's hand she could deal with but the laughing drove her absolutely crazy. And as she pulled and pulled harder every other screaming laugh her reflection screamed, the mirror cracked even more. Until at an abrupt stop, it all ended. The screaming laughs and the cracking had stopped. The reflection of Ray had her head hanged down. And that disturbed her greatly, to just see herself doing something she's not. Wouldn't it disturb, you?
And in moments, Ray had calmed down but did not move. She breathed hard, and her reflection slowly picked up it's head, and smiled crookedly....
"BOO."
Rays screams finally approached her mouth and at a rapid speed, and she broke free from the mirror, but it had broke in a million blue pieces, and Ray fell backwards, some glass on her small body.
And in a silent moment in that dark room, came a bright, bright light from Ray's chest, that made her move her body in un-usual poses. "Thank you, I'll take that now." Said a tall figure of a woman with crimson nails. She grabbed the soul, and smiled widely, with satisfaction. "Vulnerability my child. You let it happen. Now your soul is mine for the taking." And in her wide smile, were sheaths to hold her thick fangs. "Seth, will be pleased."
It had been Keymari who had set this wondrous date up. "I guess since I'm here, might as well, do what I do best." She smirked with her bright crimson lipstick. She pranced over to May who was knocked out well on the floor and flipped her over reluctantly. "Ugh, ew. It's so, disgusting! I wouldn't eat her if she was the last human being on earth! How gross!" Keymari flailed her arms stiffly, and sucked in her stomach. "Here goes, hopefully havoc reeks upon that child, it would be most beautiful." And beautiful it was, to eyes like hers and a man who seldom walks in light.
As she stood straight, her lips began to move and sing something that no ears have ever dared to listen for. A melody that dripped and drifted all around May. Something so horrible that it is non-comparable to seeing someone cut their own arm off with a butter knife. And all that feeling and horror, in just an invisible force. Which happen to be the most terrifying, because even though we can't understand it, that doesn't make it scary. But their are just some things in this world, that when unleashed for the human empathy to grasp, was better left caged behind it's own skin. Such things, should not ever be felt.
And once she shut her mouth, the dark that poured out from it, laid softly on May's empty body, and sticked itself onto May's skin. Which it faded and May twitched for moments, and stopped completely. Keymari laughed a slight giggle and snapped her lips. "Well! Now that that's out of the waaay! I better be off! Ta Ta!" She blew a kiss to the helpless girls and in one blink, she shifted into the air and disappeared with the gust of wind that the abnormally huge window blew in.
May arose, growling and laughing, in a more wicked way then any other time she had this kind of thirst, "Damn! Hahaha! I'm free! I'M FREE!" May laughed crookedly, like a man on too much liquor. "Let's go have some fun, May!" Something was wrong, this was not May, but her only rival, the demon that had hide itself for not even half of it's due time. "Let's go KILL time! Hehe!" Her back was arched in a very uncomfortable looking way, her teeth large and crookedly sharpened. And her arms dangled as if they were dead, hanging in an unusual way.
But that was not the horror in such a sight. The real screams came from with-in her face, which was hid by her black as night hair. Her faced reeked with a deep emotion, which cannot be sensed if you have never felt it before. But clear as day, it was there. It was the type of fear that made you ask your mom and dad to check under your bed for monsters. Because in the darkness, you knew that something hid. And as May's faced crawled with a sort of eerie darkness like the bottom of your bed, you knew that if it set eyes on you there was no escape. And that truly was the fear of this demon who had set it's eyes on May. Who was now in her body, and bringing that ultimate fear and that sensation of apprehension, to life. It was such a sight to feel.
The demon inside May crawled like a dead body on strings to the door, and didn't even dare to look back at poor Ray, who lay on the floor with the shattered blue pieces of the mirror. And in some way, the sub-conscious of May felt that Ray to, was shattered in pieces. The streets she was headed of to, and walked by everyone else's busy faces like thin air on wind. As soon as the demon found it's way to the glass hospital door, it traced it's finger over the glass, to reassure itself that this really was happening. And in some way, sub-conscious May was horrified by one simple action, she hated to admit that she knew what the demon was thinking, and even though she lay in the back of her own mind, and imprisoned by her own body, she knew that they were connected.
The demon pushed the door, and sighed in satisfaction. It spread it's arms in the light of day, and hissed at it as well. The demon walked in the middle of the street, and with-out any further ado, began to dance.
No creepy screaming, or what you would think it start doing, would be causing others pain. But it danced. And it raved in the streets, cars honked but it danced. In a way like no other, it danced.
"I know why the world is crying, May you can't stop me! You can't stop me! This is my chance to shine to shine to shine! And I won't let you, take me over again! HAHA!"
