H.A.A.R.P. (the Muse CD/DVD of their Black Holes and Revelations tour at Wembley Stadium) finally came in the mail! So I'm jamming out in my chair and headbanging and being a loser.

Last night was Prom IRL. It was pretty awesome. The music sucked as usual, but some songs had enough of a beat to dance to. Tiegen danced like a dancing freak who dances. xd She was amazing. And Hope made up a bunch of hilarious dance moves that we did. And we slowdanced together. Except we didn't really know how. xd So that was hilarious. AND HOPE WORE A SUIT AND A TOP HAT. Oh my god. It was made of pure awesome. I got to wear the top hat once too! And then Kiri pushed it down over my head and I called her a whore.

But a pretty whore who I loved.

A few of my teachers were there so I said hi to them. My Stats teacher was there too! That was kind of surprising. I wouldn't have expected him to come.

I wonder if Hope, Tegan, and I can convince Mr. Walz to come next year! surprised That would be amazing.

Ms. Walters said she was going but I didn't see her there.

The only thing that was missing was James. </3 Oh well, he'll be with us next year.

And I'll make him dance. twisted xd He's not being shy around me if I have anything to say about it. ninja If I can get my freak on, he can too. xp Just with a little help. xd

And we were all really pretty. heart

AND MEL CAME!!!! I haven't seen him in over a year!!!! I told him he has to come again next year because I'll miss him.

So yeah, I'm definitely going to Prom next year and Hope has to come along because she makes everything lots of fun. But the band kids might not be able to go to Homecoming as usual because of stupid band stuff. emo I dunno, Alyssa's the one with the band schedule. So Alyssa won't be able to go to Homecoming and have me and James scare her. xd Aw shucks. Well I'm sure we'll have plenty of opportunities to do that anyway.

Oh, Kiri was surprised because she saw me singing along to "Temperature" by Sean Paul but I wasn't singing the actual lyrics. I was singing THIS.

Oh, and they played that one song that goes "It's getting hot in here so take off all your clothes." So I sang the Weird Al version. xd And they also played Kanye West's version of "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger." And I headbanged to it. xd Kiri cracked up and said, "Wow Carly, can you honestly headbang to anything?" "Yeah, pretty much anything but slow country songs." "What about classical?" "If it was an intense classical song I could."

Ha, and yesterday when we were heading back to my house to wait for Ms. Carol to pick them up we were talking in the car and I suddenly recognized a guitar solo that was playing. And I went, "...OH MY GOD IT'S 'Welcome to the Jungle'! I LOVE THIS SONG. AND I CAN FIVE-STAR IT ON HARD ON GUITAR HERO!" And I saw the little colors coming down. xd
