Hypocrites..... I hate them so I wanna rant some more!
Hypocrites.... you know them, you hate them, and if you agree with me, then you're probably one too. People have always told me that saying a lie for the sake of another person is alright but I never feel comfortable doing it. I frankly don't care. If the person asks my opinion about a piece of clothing they're wearing and it looks like s**t, I'll tell them exactly what I mean. There's being too honest, or blunt, and then theres the hypocrites. Either way, it's a bad thing but I'd rather be honest than a liar.
Take last christmas for example. My aunt came over to my house in christmas eve and gave me a present. I opened and much to my surprise, I found a pair of underwear. To be honest, I didn't have to say anything, my face was enough to tell but I just had to say something. I took a deep breath and asked out loud "Who the hell buys underwear for their nephews.... Jesus! Couldn't you just give me a $20 bill like normal people do?" I gotta admit, I felt bad afterwards (not because I don't appreciate it but it's just plain akward) but it's either that or.... "I've always wanted heart shaped boxers from christmas... thank you!" *Cheesy smile*
My friends get mad at me sometimes because I say the truth, which they think is always me being inconsiderate. But even if I were to lie about my friend's (let's say) appearance, my face would totally rat me out like a huge neon sign that says "WHAT AN IDIOT!" So in the end, I have no choice but to say it like it is. I could always just stay silent......................................Naaaa.
