Or rather, I stab my PROCRASTINATING TENDENCIES! >.<
I skipped Rainbow Alliance today JUST so I could get a headstart on this English homework that's due tomorrow and even though it's easy there's so much to do. Blegh. Personal reflection. I hate it! xp Well. Actually, I love doing it. But I have to be in the mood for it. @_@
We have to choose five questions on a sheet we got to answer in 1-3 sentences. It's kind of like a job or college interview.
(Random: Speaking of college interviews, I'm starting to get a little worried about when it comes time to apply to college. Australian stuff is different timewise because their school year actually coincides with the actual year like it SHOULD. Unlike our stupid American way. xp So I plan on attending college there for the first semester of 2010. I could shoot for the second semester of 2009, but that's in July and I'm worried that it'd be too soon. I'd rather go there and have a few months to get settled and accustomed to the area, have everything ready, and have a job. That way I don't kill myself over there. xd So when everyone is applying for colleges, I well...I don't know what I'll be doing. I'm going to apply to some here as kind of like safety schools and schools I would like to go to if I was staying here even though my parents know I don't intend on going to any of them if I get into one I want in Australia. But the deadlines are WAY earlier here than they are there.
Oh, oh, plus, if I'm there when I'm turning in applications, I could actually tour the campuses and be there for an interview.
However, I'm not sure how it would work out with a study visa. I don't know how much earlier you can be in Australia with a study visa before actually being in school.
I need to do more research.
gonk
ANYWAY.)
Some of the questions are like "Tell me about yourself", "How would you describe your ideal job?" "Why should I hire you?" "Do you have plans for college? What degree?" "What have you learned from extra-curricular activities?"
But I don't know which ones to do. There are 15 in all. We must do 5. They don't have to be long but it's the problem of figuring out which ones will be easiest or apply to me. I've answered a few from my job interview (my ONLY job interview so far xd ) at Perkins, but I was on the spot and kind of made up stuff. @_@ But they were mostly truthful!
And then I have to do another 3 questions on the other side that are kind of like college application essays.
Blegh. xp
