The two days passed by very fast, when it came for time for all of the people to go to the convention, everyone brought money and was drove to the event.
"We're going to the convention, we're going to the convention, I'm going to get me some of those new video games." Mist sung in a weird rythm. He was rolling from seat to seat, talking to everyone.
"Dang Mist! It's really nothing to be so high about." IMyself said getting irritated about it.
"Well, here we are!" Mist's dad said, "Now you children be safe and don't run off, stay as a group and-"
"Okay, dad. We got it." Mist said and waved goodbye to his dad, he closed the car door and left with his group, raving music played as the whole building shook. Everyone was having fun with each other until they ran into their enemies.
"Well, well, well..." Shadow said, shaking his head. "I never expected you to be here. Now the fun's just ruined."
"Yeah it is, for us." King said giving Shadow a dirty look. He clenched his fists and looked at the group. "Come on guys, we don't need these losers ruining this."
"Same here, let's go." Shadow said, they both went seperate ways.
"Hey, guys! Look! New Project!" Link said reading a door, it was painted on the door ghetto style. "Let's check it out!" He opened the door everyone crammed inside. They saw a young man typing things out on a huge computer screen. The man looked back and smiled.
"Ahhh, welcome, one and all, to Professor Shot's new virtualmania! Just put this on your head and you're set to play everygame you can ever imagine!" Professor shock said and grabbed a few helmet-type headgear.
"Whoa, awesome.." MP said, once she got one, she tried it on and sat on one of the rows of seats. "Wow! I-It's like I'm living the game, can we play with other people?"
"Yes, you may!" By a couple minutes, Professor Shot had already given helmets to everyone, it seemed like that group was the only people in the room. "We just need to connect the helmets with this wire!"
"So now we can play with our friends and stuff, like whatever game we're playing, they will be in it?"
"Yeah, awesome isn't it?"
"Very!" Everyone in the room said, by a couple minutes they were already hooked into the game, Professor Shot looked away as he saw yet another group of children in front of him.
"We want to try those! They look cool!" Shadow said, he gave a menacing smile as he sat right behind King, Migration sat behind Link, Pink sat behind IMyself, Serene sat behind MP, and Averiyx sat behind Mist. When everyone got their helmets, Professor Shot put on a very disturbing smile and hit a button. Suddenly, small needles from inside the helmet, connected to the other player's head. Everyone screamed and held their helmets to take it off, but it was no use.
"Hold on, children. The fun has just begun! Now you get to enjoy the game as if you were really, really inside it." Professor Shot said and by then, all the children's brains were hooked onto the video game. Literally.
Meanwhile, inside the views of the children...
"Whoooaaaa!" Migration yelled as all the children looked as if they were falling down a very deep, hollow, cylinder-type hole. The surrounding were very greenish, like the designs you see on high-tech things. Right before they hit the floor, they stop in mid-air and fall on their feet.
"What the hell's going on?" Serene asked, she tried to see if she can remove the helmet by holding her head and tried to see if she can feel teh helmet, but outside, her body wasn't even moving. "Let us out!"
"I'm sorry, but there's only one way you can actually get out of the game. Win..." Shot's head suddenly appeared right in front of the children, it was blue and cyber-type, little wire-like symbols ran down his face.
"Get us out of here you little punk!" King said, when he tried to step forward, he suddenly found himself in chains. "What the?" King said, he tried to release himself, but it was no use.
"Why are you doing this?" MP asked.
"To test out my new game of course. It'll soon be sold worldwide while cash comes to me, but I do need a test run. And fortunately, you children are here!" Professor Shot's voice boomed over the whole place.
"And what happens if we don't win the game?" Averiyx asked. "Are you just going to keep us here forever?"
"We'll see what happens.." Professor Shot grinned. "Shall we begin the first game?"
