Silver Memory~
Yeah... I've been A-WOL for a while again.
Well, I got an e- mail yesterday about my dress. It's done. But it's tons of money, money my mom and grandmother decided to donate. My mom was like, "Consider this your huge, one- month- early Christmas present".
And the new song on my profile is 'Silver Memory' by Hania, who's this amazing but pretty much unknown singer/songwriter from Brisbane, Australia.
Such a sad song. One of her others is called 'Burden' which is totally awesome, but it made me cry. 'Suicide' is cool too.
I'm writing a song for keyboard I'm calling "Faeries' Tale" which sounds pretty good at this point. It goes from the key of A minor, to A major, to F major and eventually back to A minor. It's making my head hurt.
So anyway, there's this writing competition that's for essays (something i've never been good at) that my lovely English teacher has put me up to. She thinks I can win first place and therefore win, like, a $200 gift card to Barnes & Noble. It's not gonna happen. The damn thing is due tomorrow and I just started it today, it's not going to come out good at all. Some idiot is going to beat me just 'cause she knows someone or something stupid like that.
