As to not draw attention to himself he removed the helm and put it in his satchel on his horse that the Stablemaster at the Pagoda had given him, and wrapped himself in a black robes, he looked like a simple peddler, his sword was the onlt thing sticking out of his robes, but that was easily dismissible since many people had swords in this era.Moving switly along the road to Antioch, knowing it would take him a full day to reach it from his current location. Never stopping to eat, never getting of of his steed once, the horse suprising wasnt tired in the least, he arrived at the outskirts of the City of Antioch at dusk, stopping and making camp at the outskirts trying not to draw attention to himself. He didnt sleep that night, he looked up at the stars blankly wondering if he had done the right thing for freedom. He wondered what his former life was like, wondered if he had a family, wondered why images of great battles long past raced in his head, but thats were his mind stopped and started battles to battles, he lay there staring at the stars for the night, Dawn rose slowly and when the sun reached his face, he rose, packed his camp and walked towards the town leaving his horse behind him, he removed the helm from his satchel and put it on his head, then pulled the hood over it, shrouding his face in darkness, the sword handle sticking out the back of his robes through a large slit, he arrived at the town shortly after sunrise, the town was just comming to life, shop keepers turned to greet the man but were instantly silenced as they saw him, frozen by a forbodding feeling, making his way to the capital building in the center of the town he was either avoided or ignored. His mind focused on what he must do. Everywhere he looked he say that the town had changed. It used to be a pure city, tranquil and serene. but now hectic and filthy, whores lining the streets and men gambling in the open, no fear about getting caught. Stepping up the marble stairs to his destiny and walking in the big wooden doors. Two guards stopped him and asked "What do you want begger?" The cloaked man replied, "I would like a word with your magistrate". The guards laughed and said "He has nothing to say to the likes of you, common street trash!!" Enraged but holding his temper, "Please it is from his father, it is a matter of upmost importance that i speak with him." The guards hastily opened the large golden doors and replied, "We've been expecting you messenger, you seem to be early, please do not report our insolence to the magistrate." The cloaked Death Knight laughed and spoke "I will not report to him, you serve your magistrate well.* He walked and the guards slammed the doors behind him. The magistrate asleep on his Ivory throne. The death Knight quickly slid the large wooden beam down to stop any intruders from that entrance. This startling the magistrate into standing up and shouting, "WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY THRONE ROOM?!!" The Death Knight turned around and began walking towards the magistrate slowly. Roming the Hood from his head to expose the crimson and gold helm, and removing the cloak, In full view of the Magistrate Edun, leting it fall to the ground as he walked.n "GUARDS!!!!!!" Edun shouted, 20 guards came running into the room from the only entrance left, swords drawn and ready to slay the intruder, The death Knight said aloud in a cold voice that could freeze your soul "If you value your lives you will stay back!!" placing his hand on Ragnarok and continuing to move closer to the magistrate. The guards quivered but remained diligent in there effort to stop the Death Knight, they all came running at him with weapons ready to impale him. "You fools" the Death Knight muttered and drew his blade. He swung once and the three closest guards swords fell out of their hands, their lifeless bodies fell down and their heads rolled along the floor. The remaining 17 guards stopped and looked at the blood stained blade in the Death Knights hand. they tried to turn and run but it was to late, they already had tried to kill him. "None of you will leave this place alive." the Death Knight said in a calm voice. He threw his sword at the only entrance left causing the wall to collapse. The guards stopped realized they were traped because the chamber had bared windows preventing entry from would be asassins. They turned around to face the Death Knight who was walking towards the group slowly. They charged him feeling as this is the only time they would be able to kill him. The death Knight dodged the first blade and stepped on the guards down swung arm breaking it, removing the sword from the guarsd hand and impaling the next guard with it, blood pouring on the ground, he withdrew the blad and stuck the blade in the back of the head of the guard he was standing on. He left the sword in and reached down for the other guards sword now soaked in its former master's blood. He stood up and looked at the remaining 15 guards, who had stopped in their tracks at the gruesome sight of their former comrades being slayed except one who had dropped to his knees and started to pray for his soul. The death knight dropped the blood soakened sword and walked up to the one guard that had fallen and said in a calm and collected voice, "You are the only one that will live, you must not open your eyes until it has gone quiet, you must tell the King what has transpired and tell him i'm coming for him soon." Edun who was on the throne looked at the Crimson Death Knight and was frozen in terror of his words. The death Knight walked over to Ragnarok and wrenched it from the rubble that was the door. The guards had regained their composer and were charging the death Knight, except the one guard who had fallin to his knees and was stilll praying. The death Knight rose his arm and swung horizontally with the sword splaterring blood onto the wall and floor, choping all the guards down with the fewest swings possible and finally driving his sword down into the last attacking guard, only one guard remained, the one on his knees praying. The death Knight withdrew his sword from the earth and started walking towards Edun. The magistrate who had regained his speech pleaded for his life with a threat, "If you heart me my father will kill you!!" The death Knight remained speechless and continued to walk towards the cowering magistrate. "SSSTay bbback you dddemon" The Death Knight was 10 feet away from Edun and advancing. He reached the Chair and picked Edun up by his neck and held him high at arms length, he choked the life out of him, Eduns breathing slowed, his heart was racing faster, the death Knight squeezed harder until it was over. he carried the lifless corpse to the back wall dropped his sword and impaled Edun to the wall with a pilum one of the guards was using. He marked Edun's face with an S in blood. Then he picked up his sword wiped the blade off, put it on his back. He returned to the front of the room, picked up his cloak put it on and covered his face with the hood. Ripped off the bars on one of the windows with his left arm. Crawled out the window and dissapeared. Never saying a word, to the only survivor. The sole survivor opened his eyes and screamed until the two inept guards from the front burted into the blood soaked room. Blood was everywhere and there on the back was was Edun hung on a wall with a pilum through his chest. and a red S on his face, marked in blood.
