So, Jocey and I were going to watch musicals. Buuuuut Jenna didn't drop off RENT and Jocey and I got sidetracked. We filled out our stuff for Chill Out (a girl scout camp thing that lasts for a weekend. Jocey, Kiri, Jenna, and Christina all went to it last year and had a blast and Jocey is making me go as her roommate. BUUUUUUT in one of the activities we get TEDDY BEARS! YAAAAAAY! blaugh blaugh blaugh ).

Then we did karaoke. It was very interesting. Me, Jocey, her brother, her mom, and her aunt all participated. We did Singstar 80's first, but Jocey, her brother, and I only knew a few of the songs. I did "We're Not Gonna Take It" even though I've only heard the chorus before. xd Oh well. I kind of sucked. And then I sang some weird song with Jocey that I had never heard of before so I had no idea what I was singing, so I goofed around and Nick said I was tone deaf. Buuuuut then we switched to the rock version and I was scrolling through the songs and I as soon as I saw "Somebody Told Me" I screamed. So I did that. And kicked major a** and surprised everyone at how good I am at singing like a guy. O_o Well, good in terms of mediocrity. I'm really not all that great. xd Buuuuut I can't do songs sung by most girls. I just can't go high. xp And then I did some other song...I don't remember what it was. After that we switched to the Pop version, which had a lot of alternative songs as well. Like "Vertigo" by U2. I considered doing that song, BUT IT HAD "Chasing Cars" by Snow Patrol. So naaaaaturally I did that one considering Tegan has labeled it my song. And I almost got a perfect score. I was super happy. (Even though it is a pretty easy song to sing. ninja ) And then I sang "I Write Sins Not Tragedies" and did pretty okay. The silenced parts (at the "the god damn door" wink always threw me off, so halfway through the song I decided not to censor myself because it made it so much easier.

Then we stayed up late snacking on candy and talking about our boyfriends. A very girly thing to do, I know. xd And we're going to name those teddy bears we get after them.

Then we watched Phantom of the Opera until my mom got home.

And Jocey is going to come home with me on Thursday and possibly spend the night and we're going to watch RENT then.

Oh, and my dad accidentally literally cut the cord to the cable on accident when he was trimming some stuff outside. Or something. So now our cable's out, but that's all right. We've been watching stuff on DVDs and playing video games anyway, so the cable doesn't get much use. So we rented a bunch of House DVDs and we're watching them now.
