Final Fantasy 7.

Book One


CHAPTER 1 Mako Reactor.



I guess I should start out in a Mako metropolis….Midgar. A train pulls up into a station. The guards didn’t worry about it because it’s a busy station. This one is different. A young woman in a light blue shirt and black pants jumps off the train and a guard runs after her and gets knocked out with a single punch in the stomach. Then a man wearing light yellow shirt and blue jeans in his thirty’s runs out of the train and uppercuts the other guard and knocks him out. A slightly obese man in a brown shirt and blue overalls person walks of a flat bed on the train and goes through the door with the others. A strong African American in a Brown jacket, army pants and armor around his abdomen runs off a platform. The man yells “Come on new-comer!!” A spiky haired person front flips off the train in a blue shirt shoulder armor blue pants and boots.
The African American ran through a door, the EX-SOLDIER runs toward the door when two MP’s ran toward him. The EX-SOLDIER pulls off a gigantic sword from his back. The MP’s laugh at him one MP #1 says “Is that all you got? Look at the size of that sword you could probably can barely hold it!” MP# 2 starts screaming at the fact once the SOLDIER picks up the sword with ease. “Well…that doesn’t stop us from kicking your a**” MP# 1 says as he runs over smacks the EX-SOLDIER in the stomach with his nightclub. As the man recovers from the blow he runs over toward the MP slashes him. Blood sprayed from the falling body.
“That hurts” as MP#1 as he said dieing on the ground.
“Holy hell, you killed him,” roared the second MP with tears falling from his face. He empted his clip at the lone-solider. His sword rejected the bullets. The Ex-SOLIDER raised his hand and gathered blue hellish energy around his hand.
“Ice,” the ball of sub-zero ice impacted the MP. Thorns of hoarfrost ripped out of the body with a sickening sound as the red liquid sprayed all over.
“Hey you kicked those guys a**,” said Wedge the thirty year-old.
“Aren’t you an EX-SOLIDER,” said Jessie the young woman.
“SOLDIER? Aren’t we are fighting against them,” said Biggs the slightly obese one.
“HEY!!! How many time’s did I tell you guys not to travel in a group?” yelled the African American whose name Barret.
“Sorry the combination on this lock is hard,” said Jessie as she turned around to look at Barret. Suddenly the door opened and the group AVALANCH was in Midgar.
“What the hell is your name anyway?” yelled Barret.
“Cloud” replied the Man.
“Ex-SOLDIER, hmmm I still don’t trust ya,”
“Well… we’re going to bomb the north Mako reactor. To slow down Shinra from taking the lifestream from the planet.” said Barret. “The lifestream is the life blood of the planet with out it the planet will die and it wouldn’t be able to sustain any more life.” Cloud thought for a while about what Barret just said.

“So this is the door that lets us in the reactor?” asked Biggs. Wedge was imputing different codes to open the door.
“Presto the door is open” Wedge said.
“SHUT UP! DO YOU WANT EVERYBODY TO HEAR YOU!” yelled Barret.
“Sorry” said Biggs.
“Quiet” whispered Barret. There in the corner are “FIRE KEEPERS” a type of monster that was made by the Shinra to help guard the reactor, and it also has Fire Materia that allows it use fire magic. “Cloud, take them on” said Barret.
“Ok,” said Cloud. Four fire keepers pop up. “This is going to be easy,” said Cloud. Cloud ran over and gauged one from the air.
“INTUREDER ALERT! INTUREDER ALERT!” said one of the fire keepers.
“That is different…since when did they do that?” said Cloud. A fire keeper teleports behind Cloud and uses fire magic on Cloud. “Ugh” groaned Cloud. “Now I am angry” Energy starts to ripple though Cloud’s 150-pound sword. “BRAVER” he yelled. He ran over took his sword and jumped up 10 feet and came crashing down and crushed another Fire Keeper.
“INTUREDER ALERT” snapped one of the fire keepers.
“Alright your getting annoying time to say good bye” as Cloud ran over and side slashed and used Ice magic on the last two.
“WOW! Did you see that! Cloud kicks butt,” Jessie said with enthusiasm.
“Damn he’s almost better then Barret” said Wedge. Barret walks over and smacks Wedge in the head with his “normal” sized hand. Cloud notices Barret has no right arm…his right arm is a gatlin gun. Cloud thinks about what has happened to his real right hand he decides not to ask.
“Alright let’s go,” said Biggs. Cloud starts to follow Biggs, Wedge and, Jessie to an elevator. Barret called him back.
“You’re coming with me. I could use a strong person,” said Barret. They ran toward the elevator. When they got toward the middle of the reactor they set the bomb.
An alarm went off “DAMN IT! Why now” said Barret. There was a whistling noise from above. Barret looked up “WHAT THE HELL A GUARD SCORPION” Barret said cursing under his breath. A Guard Scorpion is a 15-foot mechanical monster that has two W machine Guns and a tail laser.
“This monster is weak against electricity attacks,” Cloud said.
“DUH! I am not a *!@#%& retard” said Barret. The Guard Scorpion started to shoot Cloud. “God” Cloud fell to his knees. Barret shot at the robot with his gun-arm. The “GS” lifted his tail over his head.
“Hey why don’t you pick on someone that has a gun?” Barret bellowed. He shot at the “GS” and one of the arms fell off. The “GS” turned toward Barret.
Cloud focused energy around his arms and then a Bolt of lightning came from know were as he said “Bolt” the “GS” lifted its tail above his head.
“Don’t attack the stupid machine or it will counter with his tail laser” Cloud informed Barret.
“Yeah right,” Barret said as he shrugged off the info. Barret shot at the GS again. The Scorpion gathered energy around his tail and shot both Barret and Cloud.
“I told you idiot…to not attack it,” yelled Cloud. Barret didn’t say any thing. Barret who was ticked off now rubbed off some blood off his lip, his gun-arm started to glow.
“BIG SHOT” yelled Barret. He gathered orange energy around the barrels of is gun and fired it at the Guard Scorpion. The shot that left the GS with a gaping hole in the armor then gigantic Scorpion fell to the floor. “Well that’s that,” said Barret
“Lets get the hell out of here I set the bomb to go off in 10 minutes” said Cloud.
“WHY DID YOU SET ONLY FOR 10 MINUTES IT TOOK US 15 MINUTES TO GET DOWN HERE!!” yelled Barret.
“Do you want to get started to go now?” asked Cloud. Barret growled under his breath. Three minutes left and they where only at the elevator. “We are almost there,” said Cloud. Barret looked up and banged his gun-arm against the wall of the elevator and leaving a rather large dent in the wall.
“SHUT UP” yelled Barret “YOUR’RE THE ONE WHO SET THE BOMB FOR ONLY TEN MINUTES!!!”
“Well if you weren’t so big you would be able to run faster,” said Cloud. Barret grunted. The door opened.
“Let’s go,” said Barret. However, before Barret started he looked down and saw something in a corner. “Well would’ a look at that” Barret said while walking toward the corner. “It’s an Assault-Rifle Gun-arm.” Barret unscrewed his gatlin-gun and equipped the Assault-Rifle. “Wow this look’s nice,” said Barret in a satisfied tone of voice.
“Would you hurry up we only got one minute and twenty-two seconds left,” said Cloud as he started to run toward the door while Barret was trying out his new gun.
“This is a little heavy,” said Barret. The Reactor started to shake “Ohhh Damn” Barret started to laugh, “I better start to get outta here,” said Barret. As Barret started to run out of the reactor it exploded sending Barret flying into Cloud.
“LOSE SOME POUNDS” yelled Cloud.
“HEY I’AM NOT FAT I AM BIG CAUSE I WORK OUT!” yelled Barret. Barret who is pure muscle and seven feet tall and weighed 350 pounds…he wasn’t light. When Barret and Cloud met up with the others Jessie was working on another bomb to destroy the tunnel they were in. “That should keep the planet going a little longer,” said Barret. “Let get going I’ll set the bomb for 2 Minutes,” said Jessie. They ran through a hole that Barret made by punching the wall. The bomb blows and sends Cloud rolling Barret wasn’t really affected by the blast Jessie was caught by Cloud Wedge flew and hit Barret in the back and Biggs and his overalls set on fire and he was running around trying to put out the fire.


Chapter 2. The 7th heaven bar.



“This mission was a success…we will all meet up at Base. Cloud if you want your pay you’d come with us.” said Barret.
Then everybody scattered “WAIT WHERE IS EVEYBODY GOING” yelled Cloud. But before he got an answer everybody was gone. Cloud looks around, starts toward some stairs, and runs into a building whose roof has gotten blown off by the blast. There was a young woman who got knocked over by a rude man and she gets up and walks over to Cloud.
“Hello would you like a flower.” said a flower girl “Their only 1 gil.”
“Sure. You should get outta here,” said Cloud.
“Ok” As the flower girl walked away Cloud spotted something by a tire. “Hey it’s a potion,” As Cloud walks out of the building two MP’s come from behind and nail him in the back with their nightclub. “You guys want to fight huh,” said Cloud amazed that the ones who did it were some people he went to SOLDIER Boot camp with.
“CLOUD?” said Johnny.
“Where did you come from I thought you quit SOLDIER and became a Mercenary” said the other
“I did I am in the group AVALANCHE,” said Cloud.
“OHHH NOOOOO” cried Johnny “Why are you hanging around a group like AVALANCHE.”
“Hey more fights and more action stuff like that its more fun,” said Cloud.
“You know what…. I like that idea…I think I’ll quit SOLDIER and become a Mercenary to,” said Johnny. The other SOLDIER ran off and to get reinforcements. Johnny ran off and yells thanks for the idea as Cloud walks off.
“Hold it right there you traitor the boss said arrest any suspects,” said the man.
“Well then should we get started then?” asked Cloud. “BRAVER” as Cloud ran over, Cloud’s ex-friend saluted Cloud and died.
The other two Soldiers’ ran over toward Cloud jumped over both over them and dodged both of there attacks. He thrusts his sword in to one of the soldier in the back pulled out the sword and slashed the other.
“That was easy”
Four other soldiers’ came from behind and started to shoot, Cloud starts twirling his sword in his fingers deflecting the bullets. While the soldiers where reloading there guns Cloud ran to the end of the road “dead-end,” said Cloud. “Crap!” Then there was a rumbling sound. Cloud looked down there was a train below
“STOP,” yelled one of the guards
“Well…I guess that’s the only way to go.” Cloud jumped on the train as the guards started to shoot again.
Barret, Biggs, Jessie and Wedge were on a train heading to the 7th heaven bar.
“Do you think Cloud is coming?” asked Biggs.
“Count on it,” Barret responded.
”What happened if he didn’t?” asked Jessie.
“More cash for use” said Barret as he smashed his gun-arm into the side of the train.
Then something banged on the out side of the train.
Barret looked at the place where the noise came from. It was coming from the door. Then the door opened and Cloud jumped in.
“Did you guys miss me,” asked Cloud.
Everybody yelled “Cloud” in amazement except Barret.
“GOD! WHY DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO MAKE SUCH A BIG SCENE?” yelled Barret. “Alright now that everybody is here we will move to the front.” Barret jumped over some luggage and walked out of the car.
“Good job Cloud” said Wedge as he followed Barret.
“Yeah good job” said Biggs as he walked behind Wedge.
“Oh Cloud your face is pitch black” Jessie said as she wiped the dirt from Cloud’s face.
She also followed Biggs. Cloud stayed behind for a while thinking. As Cloud walk into the open door he sees Barret scaring the passenger’s out of that car.
“HEY GET OUTTA HEAR DAMN IT” yelled Barret.
One of the people on the car didn’t move at all.
“Why do I get the worst trains?” the Shinra Manager said.
Barret ran to the front of the car and asked, “What did you say?” no answer. “I said what did you say?” Barret walked toward the Manager and smashed his fist in the gut of the Shinra Manager
“YOW” yelled the Shinra Manager.
“You know? It’s you guys that really burn me up,” yelled Barret. The manager got up and ran toward the other car.
“You sure know how to make a good impression,” said Cloud.
“What do ya know,” asked Barret.
Cloud shrugs.
“Hey Cloud over here,” called Jessie. As Cloud walks over she starts explaining about the size of Midgar. “This is a 1 unit size out of 100,000,000 scale of Midgar. This is the path the train. The tracks rap around the main support beam of Midgar. There are Checkpoints every Four miles that are able to check every person’s I.D. to see if there are any stowaways, criminals and bums but that’s only on the way up to Midgar since we are heading down to the polluted grounds under Midgar they really don’t care. They don’t care what goes on down here.”
“Hey Cloud” yelled Barret. “Come look at this,”
“So it’s the bottom of the stupid a** floating pizza,” said Cloud. “Why they don’t move I don’t know but it isn’t my fault.”
Barret’s response was true from the heart. “It’s because they have no money or they love there land no matter how polluted it gets.” Barret sat down.
As the train pulls in the AVALANCH Group and Cloud wait to get off. As Barret pushes his self through bunch of people to get off the others watch as he makes a mess of things. Then they follow (after Barret push him self through) and get off the train. When they get off they see Barret waiting.
“Like I said…this mission was a success…but don’t get lazy now. Tomorrow we will be bombing Number 8 reactor. Al’ righ everybody meet at the base.”
Cloud sighed that nobody told him where the “base” was. Cloud followed the others to where they headed off. When he got there he saw a weapon shop, a hotel and a Materia shop. Cloud was thinking, “This isn’t a half bad slum it looks rather nice of one.” Then gunshots rang out. Cloud looked at where the nose was coming from. There was the gang. Then some people came out of the bar then after them Barret came out shooting like as if there was monsters where there.
“That’s right get out,” yelled Barret. “Get out!!” Biggs and Wedge went into the bar while Jessie stayed behind to scold Barret.
“Hurry up!” I want to get this meeting started now,” yelled Barret at Cloud. When Cloud heard this he (just to annoy Barret) started to walk real slowly. When he got toward the bar Barret picked him up and threw him at the door but before he hit the door he grabbed the banister to stop himself from flying into the door.
“Papa” squealed a little girl in a pink dress. As the girl looked up she quickly looked down and ran to the corner and started to cry. Then a young beautiful woman in a white half shirt and a pitch-black mini skirt with brown hair all the way down to her ankles and green earrings and brown leather shoes came to see what has just happened.
“Sorry she is a little shy.” as she looked up she gasped. “Cloud…is that you?”
“Yes Tifa …It’s me.”
“Wow you have changed a lot. You at least grew three feet the last time I saw you… Wow look at the size of the sword.” “Damn! That sword is heavy. Hey is that a flower. It’s so pretty.” As Cloud gave the Flower to Tifa the little girl looked up at it. “This bar should be filled with Flowers.” Then she walked behind the counter to make some drinks for Wedge and Biggs. When Cloud was going to go outside heard loud running foot steps he jumped backwards to get out in front of the door then Barret came crashing through the door almost breaking it off the hinges.
“Al’righ everybody meet down stairs,” said Barret. Then the little girl came running to Barret. “Hey Marlene how ya doing” asked Barret in a caring. Barret put her on his shoulder and flipped a secret switch on a pinball machine. The game started to go down toward a basement. Biggs Wedge and Jessie all jumped into the basement. When Cloud got down their Barret was punching away on a punching bag, Jessie was trying to make something on the computer, and Biggs and Wedge were planning something for the number eight reactor.
“Cloud…did you see anybody that you knew?” asked Barret
Cloud thought. “No because if we meet up with anybody I trained with, you wouldn’t be standing here right now.”
“WHAT! WHY ARE YOU PROTECTING SHINRA? IF YOU ARE, WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST STICK WITH THEM?” roared Barret.
“BECAUSE SOMEONE IN MY GROUP TICKED ME OFF AND I HAVE A PERSONAL VENDETTA WITH HIM!” Cloud yelled as his blood pressure is rising. “Meet me up stairs. I want to talk about my money.”
“Jez…Money?”
When Cloud got back up to the first level Tifa stopped him at the door.
“Cloud do you remember the promise we made when we lived in Nibelheim?” she said with a caring voice. Cloud nodded his head.
“The promise that you’d come and help me any time I needed it.”
“Yeah,” Cloud sighed.
“Then stay here because I am going on he next mission and what if something happened to me that I need help” she finished as Barret climbed up the shaft from the basement.
“Cloud here” Barret tossed 2000 Gil at Cloud.
“Next mission I want double.”
“WHAT DOUBLE…” Barret yelled.
“Barret settle down we need the help,” said Tifa.
“But Tifa… that money is for Marlene’s schoolen!”
“It’s o.k. We need the help.”
“Let’s get some rest the number eight reactor is our next mission…so be ready.” Barret said with tiredness

Chapter 3. Number Eight Reactor.



. Cloud woke up and went to the first floor and saw Barret and Tifa waiting for him.
“Hey Cloud…how you use Materia,” Barret asked scratching his head.
“I am not going to show you how to use “magic” you wouldn’t get it,” Cloud replied slightly chuckling.
“Yeah you are probably right.” Barret replied, “I’ll let you do the Materia stuff.
“Cloud the owner of the item shop wanted Barret to stop there for awhile.” Tifa said while doing a spinning jump kick. Cloud noticed that she has become a wonderful Marshal artist. “Lets go” Tifa yelled back at the other as she was running out of the bar.
Cloud remembered about the Materia he found before the Guard Scorpion came falling down on them. “This is a “CURE” you don’t find this very often in the open. Barret come here I got some thing for you.”
“What do you want? I got to get to the item shop.”
Cloud slapped the little green orb to Barret’s arm and it defused into is body.
“What the hell is that?” Barret asked.
“Why I just gave you the “CURE” Materia it will allow you to cure yourself and others.” Cloud said as he defused a different green orb from his arm. ”There are many different Materia’s. There is Magic like the one in your arm and the one I have in my hand. Independent Materia that helps your stasis like that let’s you receive more blows in battle. Summon Materia allow you to summon powerful monsters to the field to help you do battle. Command Materia allows you to perform different abilities in battle. There are special types of Materia called blue Materia these allow you to attack more then one monster with magic or they act like Independent Materia and help your stasis. This Materia I have in my hand I will be giving to Tifa so she can perform “bolt” magic which is an electric attack.”
Barret started to scratch his head again. “Like I said I will let you do the Magic stuff.”
“Fine what ever you say. Just don’t complain on what I give you then,” replied Cloud. As they meet up with Tifa Cloud pushed the little green orb into her arm.
“So…what materia did u just give me?” asked Tifa.
“Bolt” magic very effective against machine’s or water element monsters.”
“Alright let’s head over to the item shop before he gets pissed,” Barret said.
They entered the Shop and walked in Barret stopped and started to talk to the manager. Cloud looked around and asked if he could have a look up stairs the manager didn’t seem to hear him to he went up anyway. When he entered the second floor he looked around and saw something blue. “Would you look at this” he bent down and picked up a Blue Materia “It’s an all Materia…nice”
“Hey put that back that’s mine,” said a big man
“Well to bad it’s mine now you shouldn’t leave rare Materia around like that” replied Cloud. The man flipped a switch and a box landed right near Cloud’s feet.
“Next time take stuff from a treasure chest,” Cloud checked the box. There was an either inside it
“See ya” Cloud said as he exited the building.
“Where did the hell did you go?” asked Barret.
“No were” replied Cloud. “I am going to the materia shop they may have some stuff I want.”
“What ever just get a move on it, we need to get going now.”
As Cloud opened the door a bell rang out and the man turned around and greeted him with a big smile. “We have all the starter materia…”but Cloud cut him off before he could finish.
“I would like the “Fire” Materia then”
“Okay that would be 250 Gil then please,” said the man. Cloud gave him the money and fused the little sphere into his arm.
“That’s better.” He meets up with Barret and Tifa at the train.
“Here Tifa the manager gave me this,” said Barret as he handed over a “Titian Bangle” She put it on and looked at it.
“So…what does it do?” asked Tifa.
“It allows you to hold materia more and also raises your defenses against magic and other attacks…I only got two because Cloud already has one,” said Barret.
“Barret come here…I got something for you,” Cloud took out the blue orb out of his pocket and pushes it into Barret’s arm.
“What does this one do?” questioned Barret.
“This will allow you to cast magic on more then one person or monster at a time…remember when I was fighting the fire keepers…I had could only cast ice on one at a time with this “all” materia it will allow you to heal us sense you have the cure materia. Now if you had a Bolt or Ice materia you would be able to hurt all the monsters at the same time.” Cloud finished.
“Al’righ lets get on the train,” said Barret. A few moments later the train started to rock a little.
“I guess they started to connect the final cars now,” said Tifa.
“Took them long enough,” said Barret as he sat down. The cars shook again then the roar of the engine of the train came apparent then they started to move. “Tifa…how long will it take this train to get to the top?” asked Barret
“Roughly…uhhh…Two hours,” replied Tifa.
“Ohh well…I can take a nap then.” Twenty-five minutes later an alarm sounded. “What the hell is that,” Barret said when he awoke
Jessie came running in. “We have to get off of this train” she said panting. “I messed up on Clouds fake ID card…come on,” They ran toward the other car as Jessie yelled, “Come on its not safe here ether”
“Damn as soon as Cloud shows up and everything has to be screwed up,” Barret laughed. Cloud rolled his eyes. As they got to the other car the alarm stopped.
“That’s good eh Cloud, Barret that was a rush wasn’t it,” puffed Tifa as she sat down.
“I think we should jump off now…before the back up comes you know,” said Barret as he punched the door off of the hinges.
“See ya guys when you land,” as Tifa jumped off.
“Go Cloud…I gotta make sure Biggs, Wedge, and Jessie will be alright,” as he sat down to wait for the others.
“What ever you say,” said Cloud as he jumped from the train. When he hit he ground he landed hard. “Shi- I broke my arm,” He pulled out a potion and drank it. “That’s better…” he punched the air making sure the potion did its job “as good as new,” he got up and started to search for Tifa. Four little doors opened up and four little boxes attached to a robotic leg to keep it up right. “Err…what are these supposed to be?” asked Cloud. Then one of the little robots looked up at Cloud and fired a rocket at him. He grabbed his sword off his back and cut the missile in half. “Hell... “Mini Rockets” I forgot about them,” he jumped back before another missile could hit him.
Then shots rang out. Cloud looked for the source and saw Barret aiming his gun-arm at the two of the Mini Rockets. Then out of no were Tifa appeared out of know were and flew toward one of the robots and punched right through the metal monster.
“I am ticked…these…things keep popping out of know were,” yelled Tifa. Cloud ran forward and uppercuts the last one with his sword.
“Alright we need to head east…there should be a shaft were we could use to get access into the bottom of the reactor,” Tifa told the others.
“Well let’s get going now…I don’t want to wait till more robots or SOLDIER members show up,” Barret said as he started to walk down the tunnel. They walked in till they reached three greenish bars crossing the tracks.
“We can’t go farther…those are SL lasers they will kill anything they touch…the train is protected from them,” Tifa said.
“Then what the hell are we gonna do if we can’t go past them,” asked Barret
“We go down the shaft…stupid if you would look you would’ve seen this,” Cloud said.
“Damn man…it is small…I don’t like small holes,” Barret whined.
“That’s too bad now isn’t it,” said Cloud in a very agitated voice. He jumped into the hole followed by Tifa.
“Aww man…why does it have to be a small hole?” He forcefully pushed his self through the small hole. When he landed he saw Cloud and Tifa by the railing of the hanging of the floor it was swaying in the wind. “Man I don’t like this place its very uncomfortable,” there was a violent gust of wind and the whole floor swayed again.
“Hay over here…there is a ladder over this way that you need to take to get to the top of the Reactor,” yelled Wedge over the wind. As they got to the ladder a heard a low growl a “Hells fish” was gliding down from a vent. “Go I will take of this I haven’t fought all day this will be fun,” as Wedge pulled out a .36 gauge high-powered rifle. “I love my gun I asked Barret if he would want an “Exile” gun-arm but he refused…oh-well,” he shot off five rounds. “Go,” Barret was the first to climb up the ladder followed by Tifa then Cloud.


Chapter 4. President of Midgar.




As they made there way toward the main part of the reactor they meet up with Jessie and Biggs. Jessie apologized for the faulty I.D. card and Biggs gave them a tent. They walked into a control room…the hall they needed to get to was being blocked by a 20-ton blast door.
“Jessie said we need to push these six buttons at the exact same time…if we don’t there will be robot guards all over this place,” Tifa said. “Place your self in front of the buttons…on the count of three…one…two…three,” they pushed all the buttons at the same time. The door opened.
“Alright let’s go,” said Barret. They ran through the hallway they stopped at the end of the corner and there were two heavily armored guards, they had a turning hook on their right arm and their left arm had a vent on it. “Hey Cloud…what are those? Are they new?” asked Barret.
“Yeah they are new…they just got done making them…I don’t know if there are human or robots…or even cyborgs,” answered Cloud.
“Uh what should we do then?” asked Tifa.
“Let’s see if we could have a pre-emptive battle” said Cloud “That means we could sneak up on them or they sneak up on us…if you ask me it would be better if we sneak up on them,”
“Alright as soon as they turn around, we sneak up on them,” Barret said. Barret looked back were the grunts were, they were sitting down and starting to doze off.
“I guess they are ether cyborgs or humans in those,” Cloud stated. They sneaked up toward they were about ten feet away from two monsters. “Alright Barret give them hell,” Barret took aim and fired at one of the monsters and at once the one just slumped over while the other tried to get up.
“God! I can’t get up,” said the guard. He took his left arm and some malevolent green colored gas came out with such force and pushed him up onto his feet. He started to laugh. “I wouldn’t breath that in…hahaha…. its poison,” as he said that he blasted forward and bashed Barret with this right arm…He wasn’t fast enough to pull his arm away though.
“Hey little man you shouldn’t mess with people that are way bigger and stronger then yourself,” Barret said as he grabbed the armored mans arm then he pick him up and slammed him into the floor.
“GAH!” the man got up. “That’s the last time you will do that again,” the vents on his arm opened up again and a smog cloud surrounding everything.
“Where is he?” Tifa asked
“I don’t know,” Cloud responded. There was some laughing but Cloud, Tifa nor Barret could find were it came from.
“You will never find me this smog is way to thick for your eyes…and it won’t lift for some time either…heh, heh, heh,” the grunt said.
“@%$!%” Barret as he grunted.
“This is ticks me off,” Cloud’s sword started to shake. “Al’right no more messing around…” He lifted he Buster sword over to his right shoulder he twirled his sword and the smog disappeared then the armored grunt was in the open. “CROSS-SLASH,” Cloud ran over cut once an energy box without the top appeared on the enemy then twisted his blade over then cut again and an x was in the box Cloud then uppercuts the man with the sword the box and exploded, the man fell to the ground.
“WHOA! What was that,” asked Barret.
“Didn’t you here me it was cross-slash” Cloud breathed heavily. His arms were shaking the sword looked as if it were going fall out of his hands.
“Man that attack must’ve taken a lot of energy,” said Tifa as she looked at Clouds arms.
“No…” Cloud panted, “It’s not that…” he started to gag, “I am poisoned… check them to see if they have any antidotes,”
“I found 625 gil.” Barret said.
“Here is an antidote,” Tifa said as she gave it to Cloud. He gulped it down with impatience. He coughed again.
“Nasty…tasted like gym socks,” he said.
“You’ve eaten gym socks before?” asked Barret in a sarcastic voice.
“Shut up Barret,” Cloud rolled his eyes. They entered the main room of the reactor looked for any more guards there were none so they continued on. Cloud and friends looked for the computer and Cloud got to work. “Alright…if it is just like the reactor before this should be easy.” A few minutes later the computer message appeared saying that the reactor would self-destruct in twenty-minutes.
“Alright let’s go…Hey Barret is that enough time,” Cloud said as he smirked.
“Okay let’s get to the elevator,” Tifa said. Cloud checked if there were any more guards. He ran over to the other wall and checked again, and then he motioned over to the Barret and Tifa to follow. They went up the stairs and entered the elevator. Tifa pushed the up button; they felt the elevator start its upward journey.
“Looks like this bombin' is going to go off with out a hitch,” Barret said.
“Don’t say that…then something will happen,” replied Tifa. They exited the elevator and ran down a long hallway.
“Okay, take a left up here,” ordered Barret. The only noise you could hear was Barret’s gun-arm hitting the chains on his pants. As soon as they entered the left corridor six first-class SOLDIERS were waiting there for them. As Cloud, Barret and, Tifa turned around seven first-class SOLDIERS blocked the right corridor. As they turned to go back to the reactor they heard clicking of hard healed shoes walking their way.
“P…Pr…President Shinra…what the hell are you doing here?” Barret asked.
“To get rid of the rats that keep on blowing up my machines,” he replied.
“Barret calm down,” Cloud said as he walked toward the president. “Long time no see eh, President Shinra,”
“Who are you?” questioned the President. “Oh yeah…you’re the traitor who quit SOLDIER and joined up with AVALANCH,”
“I am a traitor you’re the on-,” Cloud was cut off by Barret.
“This reactor is going to be nothing but a heaping pile of junk soon, if you still want to live you are going to want to move,” yelled Barret.
“A waste of good fireworks to get rid of rats like you…such a waste,” replied the head of Shinra Power Electric Company.
“RATS…” Barret took aim with is gun, “YOUR FORGETING WHO YOU ARE TALKING TO,” roared Barret. Shinra snapped his finger. There was the hum of a motor.
“Uh…Cloud, there is something over there,” Tifa said. There was something hovering in the corner, red eyes were glaring at them. Cloud drew his sword and started to dash at the President, he snapped his finger again, and then a giant computerized giant hovered over Barret and Tifa.
“YO! Cloud get over here,” Barret yelled over to him. Cloud stopped in his tracks, he looked at the robot then back to the president. Then there was another noise, the noise of blades spinning. A Helicopter flew close to the President, as he got on he got on the megaphone on the Copter.
“Meet Airbuster…built by the Shinra Defense Department Agency, I am sure that the information he will extract from your dead bodies will be useful,” then the helicopter lifted up and flew away.
“Hey Cloud get over here this thing is getting weird on us,” Barret yelled over to Cloud. “Hey whom did I give the Bolt materia to?” asked Cloud.
“Uh…oh yeah I have it,” answered Tifa.
“Well use it on the Airbuster thing,” yelled Cloud as he ran back to get in the conflict. A bolt of lightening came from nowhere, as Cloud focused power around his left arm then launched a fireball at Airbuster. Barret ran up to the Shinra Defense machine and put 50 rounds in to the chest of the metallic SOILDIER.
“DEFENSE’S ACTIVATE,” reported Airbuster.






Chapter? Crazy Motorcycle Chase.


“Tifa, were is Cloud? Is he still finishing off Rufus?” asked Barret.
“There is no time to tell you lets go…come on follow me.” Tifa said as she ran toward a Shinra Military pickup Truck.
“WHATS GOING ON?” bellowed Barret.
“There is no time to tell you come on!”
“Fine” he said as he stepped into the back of the truck, Aeris joined Tifa in the passenger seat, and Red XIII jumped in the back with Barret. Barret turned his head toward the stairs. “What’s that noise?” There was a rumbling noise and the sound of an engine. Tifa brought the truck to life and no sooner then after that, Cloud came flying down the stairs on a motorcycle with its label on the side “Hardy Daytona” with his Buster Sword in his left hand he passed the truck and waved to them to follow. Tifa floored it and the Truck picked up so much speed so fast she almost lost control. Cloud stopped in front of stairs looked back at them and revved up the bike and jetted up the stairs…Tifa followed Cloud up the stairs and took a sharp right turn and almost flipped the pickup.
“Damn it Tifa can you drive any better?” roared Barret as banged on the back of the window. Tifa rolled her eyes. Cloud stopped in front of a large window. He looked back a Tifa and Aeris and nodded, he put his foot on the floor and revved up his bike then picked up his foot and flew forward crashing through the glass and landing on the highway below. Tifa shifted gears and pressed the pedal to the metal and landed on the highway to. Cloud slowed down to let Tifa catch up. Cloud looked back to see what was taking so long.
“Damn it has to be right now,” said Cloud flushed with anger. He could see Barret trying to shoot some of the Shinra pursuit troopers that were attacking them. Cloud hit the brakes. He took his Blade and hit a trooper off his bike. The bike lost control and crashed in to three others troopers. Cloud could hear Barret shout over to him but he could not hear what he had said. Twelve more Shinra troopers show up and started to shoot at Cloud. He swerved and took his sword and got one of the troopers and hit the body of the trooper and flied of his bike. Cloud did a one eighty degree spin and deflected the bullets then jumped off his bike landed on a trooper bike slashed him then jumped back to his bike then turned it back around. Barret shot the others nearly hitting Cloud. Tifa looked at the speed gauge it was topped at one hundred twenty six miles per mile. Cloud sped up to the trucks and Tifa gave him a thumb up. Then a grinding noise was heard behind them.
“What is that,” roared Barret. As a gigantic metal monster was hurtling toward them with a speed of 120 miles an hour as, smoke bellowed from the sides as it speeds up.
“I have seen that when I was transferred into a different cage,” Red XIII. “I heard them talking about it. It has a great defense against regular attacks…” Cloud rode over to it and slashed at it with is buster sword. Not even a dent. Cloud was so close to it he could hear the gears grinding and moving.

As Cloud entered the Ancient City he saw Aeris on her knees praying. Cloud jumped on a small island but when Vincent tried to go with Cloud he stopped him. Vincent waited with Barret. He reached the island. Then, everything went blank in his head. He shook his head. As he got closer to her he drew his Yoshiyuki and lifted it over his head. He tried to break away…. He swung.
“CLOUD,” Vincent yelled.
“Stupid @%&!#” roared Barret. Cloud stepped backward.
“What are you trying to make me do…?” Cloud said as he grabbed his head. Aeris looked at Cloud and he looked back. Then Cloud had the urge to look up. As he did, he saw his worst nightmare unfolding. Sephiroth was gliding downward with his sword drawn. He tried to react but couldn’t move at all. Sephiroth’s Masamune entered Aeris’s body…Sephiroth looked at Cloud, smiled, and slowly pulled out his sixty-four inch blade from her stomach. Before she fell, Cloud caught and set her against the side of the wall.
“This girl will now return to the planet and fuse with the life stream and she will make me stronger,” said the One Winged Angle. “When she does, I will be come a god, I will then head through the snowy fields and I will head to the Promised Land, when I do the Jenova’s reunion will take place,”
“SHUT UP…I DON’T CARE ABOUT YOUR STUPID PLAN…Aeris will no longer talk…laugh…smile…get angry or cry any more…Why…Why did you do this,” Cloud sobbed. Tears were falling from Clouds eyes and landing on Aeris’s face. “My mouth is dry…my eyes are burning …my fingers are tingling...” Cloud got up with his Yoshiyuki blade in his hand.
“Are you saying that you have feelings to?” asked Sephiroth.
“Of course I have feelings,” roared Cloud. A black wing sprouted from Sephiroth’s right shoulder he hovered ten feet into the air.
“How could you,” Sephiroth chuckled, “you are…” he flew out of the building as he dropped a small orb. Two bright lights went off, and then Jenova appeared in the center of the little island. Cloud took his Yoshiyuki and let out a flurry of attacks upon Jenova as Vincent and Barret joined in the fight.
“This one is different…it isn’t the same color as the one we fought on the Cargo Ship,” Barret said. Jenova was reddish blue color, she also moved faster. Barret punched at Jenova with his rocket punch weapon as Vincent fired a few rounds into her side.
“Humph…Jenova the calamity from the sky’s…” Vincent fired the last shots he had in his sliver rifle then reloaded, then jumped into the air and landed on top of Jenova. “Hmm…we need to kill her before she becomes whole again,” he fired twelve more rounds in to the demons head. A distorted voice started to ring out.
“Hehehehehe…Aqualung,” Cloud looked up and saw Jenova looking at him…her bright blue eyes stirring in her head. Then everything exploded in blue clusters of water around Cloud and the others.
“What out Aqualung is an attack,” bellowed Cloud. There was a low rumbling. Cloud sensed this before, he looked over to Vincent; he was transforming.
“AHHHH…”Vincent took his gauntlet and pushed into his forehead. Blood trickled down his head as he dragged his finger down to his chin. The flesh started to fall off of his body then he stopped above his waist. He ripped off his right arm…but something also shot out as well. A huge deformed arm with a gigantic mass of metal in his shoulder. Then the arm punched the ground and the transformation was complete. A hunched over Frankensteinish monster with a screw in his head and forearm on his left arm his blood red eyes glaring at Jenova. Cloud looked at Barret he was hunched over.
“Hey Barret you okay?” Cloud asked.
“No…..Aqualung….its really strong I should have equipped the Water ring,” Cloud threw a Hi-potion and Barret caught it and used it. “Thanks man,”
A voice ringed out in his head “You’re a puppet Cloud you’re a puppet,” it was Jenova’s.
“I am a puppet? What do you mean?” Cloud asked back knowing full well that he wasn’t going to get an answer back.
Cloud pick the last Cetra up, and carried her up the stairs to the moat that was surrounding the building they entered earlier. Vincent crossed her arms for Cloud as he entered the water. He set her in the water and had taken a few steps backward as she sank. As she sank further hear arms became unfolded and her long hair wrapped around her body. A few hours later Barret called the others to come join them in the City of the Ancients.
“We found her…LOOK JUST COME HERE AND CLOUD WILL EXPLAIN EVERYTHING!” Barret roared then clicked the phone closed. Half an hour later Tifa and the others meet up. Cloud told them what just happened, Yuffie started to sob really hard as she put her face into his hands, Red XIII started to howl, Cid took a long drag on his cigar then exhaled, Tifa’s face paled and she started to cry.

Chapter? Bizzaro Sephiroth.


Sephiroth’s body started to bulge and mutate. His legs fused together and started to grow, his chest turned green and his arms multiplied their size by ten. His hands changed into to giant wings at his wrist’s “Hahahahaha…” Sephiroth’s laughter was everywhere. A second head was sprouting from is normal head. Horns grew on his head and his shoulders. Hairs grew from the second head and fused with Sephiroths head. Antenna’s formed on Sephiroths head. After the legs were done growing, a round cocoon like shape formed. “Hahahahaha…I am absorbing the lifestream…the more I absorb the stronger I will become. Bizzaro Energy” Different lights surrounded him, as he shifted his arms and touched the feathered end together; there was a sound of a bell as the hellspawn Sephiroth was surrounded by magical lights. “Ah that’s better…”
“What the…” Yuffie yelled.
“*&@#!$%” Son of @#$^#@” Cid and Barret said within a split second of each other.
“Damn” said Vincent. Cloud drew his sword.
“How are we supposed to fight it?” asked Tifa.
“Everyone scatter,” ordered Cloud. Tifa, Barret and Cloud both leapt to plateau that was in the center of the cavern. Vincent, Cait Sith and the Ninja Yuffie went to the left side of Bizzaro Sephiroth. Cid and Red XIII were on his left.
Chapter? The Final Battle.



As Clouds soul soared through the lifestream he saw souls of people, trees, and animals and also the ones that have been injected with Jenova cells in which it looked like a different lifestream. He came to an area where there wasn’t anything except for the swirling consciences and a giant orb floating in the center of the black nothingness. Before he could figure out what the orb was he was suck into another tube and went off flying where the lifestream summoned him to go. Cloud felt as he had changed his direction. He opened his eyes; Sephiroth was standing there looking up at Cloud. Sephiroth who was shirtless and had his sword drawn.
“What brings you here Cloud?” asked the Heartless angle. Cloud landed on his feet and summoned his Ultima Weapon.
“Shut up! The only reason I am here, is because the lifestream summoned me to get rid of you,” yelled Cloud.
“How could one who is so easily controlled….be able to defeat me?” questioned Sephiroth. Cloud charged at Sephiroth, as he dodged Clouds and counterattacked. “Is that all you could do?” Sephiroth asked, “With only that level of skill you have no chance of beating me,”
Sephiroth took his Masamune and disappeared, and reappeared behind Cloud. He coughed up blood. Cloud used Full Cure on him self before Sephiroth could attack again. Cloud turned with so much speed as he swung his sword it disappeared, Sephiroth simply lifted his sword to block the attack as his sword went right through Clouds.
“Heh,” Sephiroth looked at Cloud’s sword, “Useless sword…were did you get such worthless blade?” asked the tainted soul. The earths protector looked at the sword as electrical beams where flying out of the ends of the sword.
“So…are you going to answer my question?” asked Sephiroth.
“But…this is supposed to be the strongest sword,” Cloud said as he tossed the rest of the sword away.
“You can’t beat me now…” Sephiroth laughed, “Your fists would never hurt me,” Cloud’s arms started to glow brightly, Sephiroth swung, but his sword stopped before it could hit Cloud. There was a bright light as the Buster Sword appeared in Clouds hands. Sephiroth looked at the Buster Sword. “It’s that same cursed sword that impaled me so long ago,” Cloud took his sword and tossed at Sephiroth the sound was so unbearable it was causing the lifestream to shout out in pain and retreat. Sephiroth dodged it with ease. “Hahahahahaha, what do you want to be unprotected?” Sephiroth looked back and saw the sword coming back to strike him down, it went through the one winged angle. The image of Sephiroth disappeared.
“Sephiroth were are you? I know you are hiding,” Sephiroth appeared in front of Cloud and took a defensive pose. Cloud took his buster sword and ran forward, Sephiroth jumped up into the air; Cloud followed him. Cloud swung his blade and Sephiroth blocked, which he was sent flying into the ground. Cloud glided down toward the black earth, as Sephiroth got out of the crater he made when his body impacted with the ground.
Cloud surrounded his body with a whirlwind. Cloud lifted his sword with his right arm and put his left hand on the back of the sword. A bright light formed around the tip of the sword, He dashed forward.
“OMINSLASH!” yelled Cloud as he slashed at Sephiroth, he couldn’t block Cloud’s ultimate limit break. Attack after attack, Cloud dished out multiple attacks. With every swing a green trail was left behind, Cloud leaped thirty feet into the air power from the lifestream gathered around the tip of the buster sword, and then came crashing down like his BRAVER attack. Blood was trickling from Sephiroth’s head and torso.
“You could never kill me…Hahahahaha,” He covered himself with his black angel wing and fell back as his body defused into six separate crimson colored souls and vanished. Cloud went back to his body; as he was surrounded but a small amount of the lifestream. It circled him as an arm started to reach for him. Cloud reached for the hand but as soon had he touched the tip of the finger, everything disappeared, as Cloud blinks Tifa appears on a cliff screaming to him with her hand stretched out toward him. The ground was cracking and descending in to Holy. Cloud fell forward, he looked down Holy was pulsating. A gigantic boulder landed on the overhang Tifa was sitting upon it crushed sending her falling, Cloud looked and jumped and snatched her and grabbed the ledge before she fell into Holy.


Chapter ? Meteor fall.


“I think we could go meet her there,” said Cloud. Tifa’s eyes filled with tears.
“Yeah…lets go see her,” Cloud using the only the only free hand he had, lifted both of them up to the ledge. He gave Tifa a small push to the small ledge.
“Where is everybody else?” asked Cloud
“HEY!!!!” roared Barret over the racket of the falling debris. “Do you think they are okay?”
“Of course…if they weren’t they wouldn’t be there would they?” answered Cid.
“Holy is stirring…We don’t want to be here when she starts to move,” said Red XIII.
“Ohh lady luck…don’t fail me now,” whispered Cid as he looked up, the cigar he was smoking dropped from his mouth. “Holy @#$&*” The Highwind that carried them around the world was speeding down the entrance of the mountain.





Robot Class
Shinra's Weapon Development Division has come up with many efficient killing machines over the company's course. After all, it was a weapon company at one time.

1st Ray - Developed as a way to defend strategic locations in the Great War, Shinra built these immobile robots armed with strong beams of light. They were set up in Midgar's reactors as defense after the war. After AVALANCHE's first bombing however, they were removed and replaced with stronger weapons, having proven to be too weak.

Airbuster - Shinra developed this techno soldier shortly before the AVALANCHE group made their appearance. Its mission is to destroy enemies, then collect data from the defeated unit. If beaten, the Airbuster is programmed to self-destruct as a last effort to destroy the enemy. They are armed with bombs, automatics, and can fire backwards if attacked from behind.

Brain Pod - Hojo meant for these to be experiments, but the idea backfired when they helped slaughter Shinra employees when Sephiroth entered Shinra HQ.

Carry Armor - Shortly after AVALANCHE left Costa De Sol, Shinra developed a replacement for Guard Scorpions in the reactors. Carry Armor has several improvements over its predecessor. First, it does not require a slow targeting computer, it has two arms to pick up and shock enemies, and finally, its Lapis Laser is several times more powerful than the Tail Laser. Although it needs to charge, the Carry Armor does not have to be hurt to fire it.

Corvette - See Sword Dance.

Crazysaw - These are the most common robots in Midgar, being in both the HQ and Midgar itself. It is only not present in reactors. It is armed with spikes and a rifle. It was one of the first robots designed by Shinra.

Cromwell - During the Great War, these acted as tanks. A single grenade combatant controls it from the inside as it rapidly fires its perfect shells over the battlefield. When Wutai attempted to invade the Great Continent outside of Base 34A (Rocket Town now sits on this location), five of these tanks destroyed the fleet of ships before Wutai could even land on shore.

Custom Sweeper - There are three known kinds of Sweepers. A prototype Sweeper was released in Reactor No. 1 when it was made known that AVALANCHE had entered. It fired machine guns, but the computer was exposed. A bolt of lightning destroyed it immediately. With this info, the Custom Sweeper was designed. It forms a tight grid around the city of Midgar using machines, smoke shots, and rockets. It also had a rubber insulator around the computer to help stop electric attacks a little. The Death Machine was developed for heavy defense in Junon. It uses machine guns, rockets, smoke, flames, and needles in its attacks. It also has a static field around it and a grounder to provide the highest electric defense possible. It was renamed the Super Sweeper in stores when miniatures went on the market.

Eagle Gun - A very new addition to the Shinra's force. It was developed for the sole purpose of protecting a train carrying huge materia in the Corel Mountains. It has high defense due to its equipped Warrior Bangle.

Gas Duster - Shinra was quite positive that AVALANCHE would attack a train carrying huge materia. Therefore, a robot disguised and a hydrogen duct was produced to make a surprise attack. Only 3 were ever made.

Gross panzer - Another tank unit with a crew of five Attack Squad members and one senior grunt. It is a mobile SAM site with its missiles and an infantry mower with its machine guns. It was developed two years after the war.

Guard Scorpion - Early in the war, Wutai spies enjoyed planting bombs in the reactors on the Great Continent which powered Shinra's bases. With this deadly tactic, Wutai was winning the war. Shinra devised the Guard Scorpion to counter this. When a bomb is detected ten feet from the main valve, it targets the carrier and drops down, attacking with machine guns and its tail. If the enemy actually got a chance to retaliate, he/she was blown away with the Tail Laser. The Carry Armor replaced the Guard Scorpion in Shinra's final days of glory.

Guard System - When unauthorized civilians or spies alike enter Junon in the wrong places, they meet the guard system. It warns the person once before it fires away with machine guns.

Guardian - This humanoid robot was designed shortly after the Airbuster. It has powerful attacks to protect Midgar. All details withheld.

Gun Carrier - Wutai spies broke into a Shinra War Factory mid-way through the war. They broke a piece of the assembly line so it produced abnormal shells for the Cromwell. Therefore, Shinra made this tank with a cannon capable of firing these shells. It proved to be a failure as the shells were weaker. One grenade combatant can drive them.

Hammer Blaster - Top secret Shinra HQ weapon. Means of its transportation are unknown for it can appear in one place then another even though it is immobile. All details are withheld.

Hard Attacker - In the war, when soldiers failed, hard attackers sped out into the frontlines to smash atone in their path.

Heli Gunner - Another edition to Project: AERO. (See Aero Combatant for info)

Lost Number - Professor Gast created this wonder in the Shinra Mansion. It is in a capsule, locked in a safe, similar to the ones Hojo used on the Sister Ray. One side loves to beat its enemies. The other was crammed full of materia for magic attacks.

Mono Drive - Designed for reactor defense 1 year after the war, these small robots can alert fellow defenders of intruders. In the center of its head-like part is a small fire materia.

Moth Slasher - Model 3A of the Crazysaw.

Motor Ball - This robot was designed for Midgar as one of the first robots Shinra developed. It is quite fast on its tracks and is used to track down criminals on the road in chases and eliminate them with several fire attacks.

Proud Clod - The Proud Clod was completed 2 days after Meteor was summoned. It is the pride of Scarlet and Heidegger. The incredible robot is heavily armored and is armed with beam cannons, lasers and machine guns. The Gold Saucer uses it as the ultimate boss in the special combat in Battle Square.

Proto Machinegun - It is a weak weapon. The puny thing was developed fifty years before Shinra even came to power by the Northeastern government. It is basically a mounted machine gun.

Rocket Launcher - Developed six years before the war. It is an immobile rocket launcher.

Roulette Cannon - This weapon can be towed around and was used by Wutai during the war. When Wutai lost, Shinra ordered all roulette cannons to be turned over. They now sit at Junon as reminders of the past.

Scrutiny Eye - Shinra deploys these on cargo ships to locate stowaways. A high powered ice and fire materia is hidden in the head.

Shadow Maker - Shinra knew AVALANCHE was powerful. So these little robots were built to support other defenders. They zap enemies to slow them down while others attack.

Slalom - Model 56B of the Smugger unit.

Smogger - When hooked up to the reactors they operate in, they draw mako gas waste. This can then be disposed of or blown at an enemy.

Sword Dance - The Swod Dance uses an unknown method to float in the air. It uses its several saw blades as weapons. Wutai invented them, but turned them over to Shinra after losing the war.

Warning Board - Sometimes new employees in the Shinra HQ will get lost and go where they shouldn't be. The Warning Board can give them directions back to their workplace. Of course, if they don't turn back...

Wolfmeister - Hojo found out several secrets from Ifalna. One was a legendary guard Jenova created with a big sword. A smaller version was built from the details to guard a train carrying huge materia. The real unit is called the Iron Man and it protects Jenova in the crater.

Creature Class
Shinra has developed a few creatures to do necessary tasks. Some are trained. Some are experiments.

Bad Rap - Some of these evolutions of Crown Lances squirmed into a crashed Gelnika in the ocean. They are normally very rare. Reno and Rude captured some here and gave them to Hojo who put them in capsules for his own use.

Behemoth - Hojo was always fascinated with the Kalm Fangs (Small purple wolves near Kalm.) He figured what is a better way to appreciate them than to capture and torture them. After months of experimenting, he created Kalm Fangs six times larger and much more aggressive. He deemed them Behemoths. They were trained to roam Midgar and kill members of the famous gang, Vice. It is rumored that Sephiroth took some with him when he came for Jenova. (Reference to King Behemoths in Crater.)

Blood Taste - These are actually Guard Hounds who have been in many battles. Their coats begin to turn red with every battle and they are more aggressive. They travel with the MPs around Midgar, searching and killing criminals.

Dorky Face - Unknown organic/ mechanic unit. Same with mirror. All details are withheld.

Ghirofelgo - When Hojo realized Sephiroth went mad due to his mako/ Jenova humans, he covered it up by altering them. Jenova cells were killed and the legs were removed (so they can't go out and show their secret) and replaced with a sharp blade. Not knowing who or what they are, they crawl around the Shinra Mansion looking for someone to take their anger out on.

Guard Hound - These dog-like creatures roam around Midgar with MPs to provide support against criminals.

Poodler - When born, they are small slugs. But when conditions are right, such as a flooding Gelnika, they can get huge and deadly. Reno and Rude of the Turks brought a few back to Hojo. He stored them in capsules for his own personal use.

Serpent - When Wutai lost the war, Shinra acquired their Leviathan Scales. Some were used to make the serpent, a small clone of Leviathan himself. The rest of the scales are kept in Junon's sub pen. The serpent was to be transported to the Crater to help fight Sephiroth but the Gelnika they were in crashed.

Ying/Yang - Not all of the survivors of Nibelheim survived the Jenova experiments that Hojo performed. The dead people were merged together into two headed zombies. They now roam the Shinra Mansion Basement striving to have a number.

The Soldiers of the Army
The soldiers make up the backbone of Shinra's evil plan. Striking fear into the hearts of people they pass, they march proudly and hope to become famous like Sephiroth one day.

Aero Combatant - The extensive use of materia on the Western Continent changed the southern half into a mountain range. Wutai soldiers would stand on the cliffs and attack Shinra's army as they climbed. Therefore, Heidegger started Project: AERO. Special soldiers were trained to use a personal propeller to fly up the side of the cliff quickly. They would then be supported by Heli Gunners. Wutai soldiers had two choices: Jump off the cliff to their death or by skewered by the Aero Combatants. Now they participate in missions that require high speed attacks and maneuverability, such as bringing down a pillar. Each soldier has a potion for emergencies.

Attack Squad - These soldiers make up the largest group in Shinra's army. They are the ultimate regular fighters with machine guns, grenades, and a smoke piece on the gun to knock out the enemy.

Captain - The captains are really promoted Attack Squads. The only difference is that they are well protected by Shinra Alpha armor and can command a squad of their own.

Grenade Combatants - These soldiers came about when it was discovered that Wutai perphered using Molotov cocktails in the Great War. In reply, the grenade brigade was founded. The soldiers carried daggers, machine guns, and anti-personal grenades. They now protect the Shinra HQ. During battle, Grenade Combatants got hit by shrapnel from their own grenades, to ease pain, they always carry a tranquilizer.

Grunt - The Grunt was developed about 3/4 through the war when Shinra had taken over the southern part of the Western Continent. They are very good at what they do. Dodging shots are easy for them. Since the rest of Shinra's objectives took place on the flat plains of northern Wutai, the grunt was equipped with the beam gun. When fired, it could travel 7 miles before dissipating. Enemies were mowed down by the hundreds. Unfortunately, the beam gun had huge recoil that only Grunts could handle. So no other soldier could handle them.

Manhole - Actually, they are civilian maintenance workers in red suites. When danger comes though, they will throw the sewer covers like Frisbees and duck back into the sewers below.

Marine - Shinra had its drawbacks though. After Shinra secured the Great Continent by the first quarter of the war, they prepared an invasion of the Western Continent. Marines were trained to attack Wutai directly, as a first wave, followed by other forces. Thousands were loaded onto transports armed with machine guns and grenades. They were also protected by the high class Shinra Beta, the prototype of the Shinra Alpha. When, they landed outside Wutai, they were killed while trying to exit the boats. Thousands were killed. Eventually, an incursion was made on the southern tip of the Western Continent below Wutai Base 4 and the town of Yamato (This town was destroyed later of course.) Now marines just load and unload cargo from ships and catch stowaways.

Mighty Grunt - During the final battle in the city of Saikso, in the middle part of the Western Continent (Of course, it wasn't mountains at the time.) The Mighty Grunts fired their twin machine guns into the fray, taking fire like it was pebbles. When damage to the armor was severe, it was blown away from the grunt. He would then slash at the enemy with blades on his knuckles. They are now defending the Shinra HQ.

MP - These units make up the main defense of Midgar. They travel in groups of two or three, or with a Guard Hound or Blood Taste. They are very inexperienced. They make systematic attacks using their machine gun and knuckle blocks. They have nightsticks but rarely use them.

Senior Grunt - See Special Combatant

Special Combatant - When Grunts made several kills in battle, and increased their strength, they were promoted to Special Combatants. They got the beam gun, but also received the wave weapon. It helped make a better attack and had stronger recoil. In the last battle of the war, the Fifth Battle for Wutai, the most powerful of the series were introduced. Five Special Combatants received the Harrier Beam. A super weapon that requires a lot of strength to use. They made more kills than even the Cromwell’s made. Now the Senior Grunts protect the Underwater Reactor and lead squads of troops in special missions.

Submarine Crew - These marines are trained to pilot submarines. They have machine guns and hand grenades.

Underwater MP - MPs are sometimes tested. If they can survive in high pressure, they are promoted to Underwater MP. They are protected by the great armor, Shinra Alpha, and carry grenades and a machine gun.
