Just getting over a very strange cold right now. Started out with the right side of my face going numb from sinus pain (headaches too). Then it goes away and so does my voice. I couldn't talk at all yesterday!! Today I'm getting better, I have my voice mostly back but still have a runny nose and crap in my lungs.

Fact arrow I always get sick during exams.

I have my english12 to write on the 20th and History12 on the 28th. Then I'm done. I mean really done! Okay I lied. I might be going off to college/university. I just haven't been accepted anywhere yet. Crossing my fingers for BCIT!! ...though I'm not as excited as one might expect. As I've stated before, the future kinda scares me. I am slowly getting over that though.

I'm really phyced(sp?) for the summer, for sure. I'm kinda bummed that midsummer is during exam week, but I have other things to look forward to. Like Fields Of Gold, my first SCA event. I'm totally ready for it too! I have tons of garb and my own feast gear. And Mon Amour might come too! I still need to figure out the exact date and cost though. After this entry...if I remember.

I also really want to go backpacking with Mon Amour. He knows so many great locations. I bet we could even hike all day just on his property. I do love it out there. Not sure if my mom and step-dad would approve but I don't really care. What are they going to do? Ground me? Take away my stuff (which only bugs me cuz it's not theirs to take)? Don't confuse my attitude with one of recklessness and disregard for authority. I just want that extra bit of freedom.

The main event this summer starts in July when I go on a family-ish road trip. Mom, Step-dad, Mon Amour(neither of us could believe it when my parents invited him), and myself are going to camp half of BC (sort of). We're driving down to Summerland for a family reunion type campout. All three of my brothers are comming (Ash is bringing his girlfriend/fiancée(?)), and my grandparents will be there of course since they live there. I'm not sure who else though. After that we're driving over to Surrey to stay at my Grandma's place, then over to Vancouver Island. I'm so excited about bringing Mon Amour to the Horne Lake caves (one of the most amazing places, period!). I'm also pushing for all of us to play mini golf while we're in Parksville. On the last stretch we're taking the ferry from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert. Then on to home! I may or may not write about it after the trip, depending on how much there is to write (I'm lazy).

And finally to end it all, there is the Fall Fair. I'm going to organize/present prizes for the horse show again this year. I think Mon Amour is organizing parking for the show, again. Either way I know he'll be there too because his mom is a major part of it all.
