man, when you move far from your family, and can't afford an internet connection, it's great to have a laptop with wifi capabilities. heart

right now I have a sunburn... crying I went to the city for a free concert thingy...and forgot to wear sunscreen...and so when I went to work, I had to work over a hot grill for 5 1/2 hours. X_X
and, for the time being, I'm a broke hoe....A girl has to have moolah to spend at her crack....I mean, anime convention. whee

ok, so i haven't been on much, and when i come back on, i'm all, "time to clean my gaia inbox of spam!" and gues what i found? NO SPAM! you know why? because the friends@gaia was removed for the time being.
and that makes me happy. i can see how that could be helpfull, for actual announcements and whatnot, but honestly, only one person in my list used it for announcements... stare
WTH? i know you all know what spamming is, and i'm sure people know that the admis wouldn't do what a lot of those forewarded things say, and also, chainletters only have as much power as you give them. So please ignore them, they are just stupid things that someone decided to do to make e-mail life miserable.

Class is starting again, and with it comes the ability to get online a little more. But I will be working harder this semester on my school work, so there still is no guarentee on when I can get on.
I think about my life now, and what I hope my future will be, and somehow, I can't shake that bittersweet feeling. almost like something won't go right. But I don't want to jinx myself.
I have decided to eat better, and live my life in more of a way that I feel better about.
In a year, I'll be moving away from my family and friends. I feel it is a journey that is needed. I need to live on my own for a while, and while I won't be completely alone, I'll be staying with a friend of the famlily, and I have a few friends up there, but I'll be starting over in a sense.

good morning all!
It's about 5:15AM and I've been awake for an hour. I have to be in at work by 6, and then from there we have to leave for the convention at 7-7:15. Then, we will proceed to set up, then sit for hours until everything is ready. Then sell.
For those of you who don't know, I work at Anime V(located on Shattuck Square in Berkeley, CA) and the store is an extension of the website that also did/does booths at conventions. And so, we care currently going to a little convention in Sacramento. I've never been to one before(yes...pity me crying ) and so I guess starting out small is good^-^
But yes, back to my schedule. I believe we start cleaning up...well, whenever it starts to close and I don't really know when that is. And My manager said we won't get back till about 10PM. And then I think we have to unload. so I won't be heading home til around 11...
YAY FOR NO SLEEP!!!! whee
Well, I gtg eat since I don't know when my next meal will be^-^

I have good news and bad news.
Good news is, I finally got a job. I admit that I haven't tried too hard. But I have tried. And I finally got what I wanted. And what makes it even better, is that I work at Anime V. It's an anime store(no dur!!!) and it's Located in Berkley, CA on shattuck so if anyone is around there you should go buy something. whee 3nodding I've only worked a few days. and there have already been ups and downs. But, well I haven't worked long enough to give it an actual rating. SO when I get to that point I'll post it here.
Now, the bad news. I seem to get this problem a lot. But This summer my internet is limited. I don't know when I'll be able to get online again. It's sorta because there isn't internet at my moms house and thats where I kinda have to stay this summer. I'm hoping to get a wifi card for my laptop. And I am hopefully gonna be able to go to my friends house some days. But we live a little ways away, and it costs me like $6 to get to her house($12 round-trip) so...yah...
And right now I'm at my aunts. So sometimes I can get on over here...but I don't come here that often so....yah
Well, I know that was kinda boring(kinda! PUCHAH!!!! scream ) but I felt I should post it here so that anyone who looks me up on Gaia will understand and maybe not kick me out of guilds heart whee

This month has held a few things already. there's E3, and oh how I wish I could have gone. There was Cinco de Mayo, which is always a fun time(while in some places it's scary sweatdrop ) And before that, there was the nationwide walk-out/protest of people in the Latino/Latina ethnicity.
It was amazing to drive through the Mexican part of town and see it completely void of life. All of the stores were closed, the taco trucks and other street-side vendors were gone and closed up. It was definately a blow to the area. And I don't know about the Eastern coast. But I know that CA was effected.
And mothers day is coming up this sunday. I still have to talk to my older brother because he wanted to get together to buy our mom something big. Not to mention, for my area, the big highschool prom is tomorrow. This has definately been interesting.
But on another note, I went to my yahoo page, something I haven't done in ages. And I decided to read my horriscope for today. Something, again, that I haven't done in ages. And it was so awesomely dead on. This is what it said...
Some days fly by, while other days crawl at a snail's pace -- the good
news is that you will have plenty of time to catch up with friends and run
a few fun errands -- the bad news is that you have to wait a little longer
for what you really want. The only way to handle a day like today is to take
a deep breath and just keep trudging along. New music or a hilarious new

Now I know that not every picies in the world will go through this. But lets see whats in common with me shall we?
So far today, I have spoken to two friends that I haven't seen in about two weeks, and I went with one of them shopping. Tonight, another friend of mine will be coming over that I haven't seen in almost a month if not longer than that.
And the bad news for waiting longer? Well, I was really looking foreward to buying a movie today. I have been wanting it for a long time now. And I was going to get it today, and when I called around, no one had it in stock. So I had to order it at B&N and I won't get it til Wed. And last night I bought a new Cd, so I've been listening to that for a while now.
Sometimes, it's freaky how things work out. And if there's one thing I believe, it's that there are no such things as coincidences. 3nodding

ok, I'm back whee
well, actually, I've been back for a while now...but I forgot about my journal sweatdrop So here are a few updates on stuff...
I have been getting into RPing now. I've never done it before because I was afraid that I would mess up, and I needed to find a beginning one. And I did, and now I'm hooked. I don't get on enough to get into a major, fast-moving, 100-member thread yet. But when I get the internet hooked up at my moms house, then all will be well 3nodding
I finally bought "The Legend of Zelda:: Minish Cap" heh...and I'm also addicted to that.
Other than that, I plan on going to WA during my spring break. whee I love it there. I love the weather, and the people seem nicer. And when I go there, all my stress seems to go away. I'm staying with friends, and I'm taking the bus both ways.
My mom doesn't want me to go though, at least she seems like she doesn't. She said she wanted me there for easter. But when I asked her what we were doing, she said we weren't doing anything. So I think I'm gonna buy her something to suck up and hopefully that will clear my conscience.

if you ever have the opportunity to watch an anime called, "Haunted Junction", watch it. I just bought the series, and it's pretty funny^-^ so all of you(the small amount of people who might read this) should hunt it down. 3nodding
