The Dreams of the Dreamer:
lying in my bed...
in a state of sub-conscious awareness...
a reverie of images and colored lights if you will....
i begin to think...
I think about places, people, things of my childhood..
Places now desolate and forgotten in my minds eye..
Villages and city squares far and wide..
Proposing many a joyous thing...
All the sights, sounds and feelings...
Rushing back to me as i drift in half-slumber..
A torrent of emotions raging through my brain..
Starting and ending in a sleepy blink of my eyes..
Such is the Dream of the Dreamer
I open my eyes to the world...
Looking at the splendor, on which i was made..
Noticing both the altruistic beauty on which we inhabit..
As well as the cruel featureless emotions of its denizens..
Like a line drawn in the sands of time..
Etched into this world by an unknown force of will...
Separating, Segregating and Stylizing...
Every known thing and man on this earth..
Focusing our thoughts on the other...
Thinking of nothing but how much *better* we are than the other party...
Negative thoughts fueling the rage of the Ancients...
Their will being done through us, the conduits of their power..
Through our lies, our betrayals, our shouts of anger...
We release their power upon the other party..
