For what purpose i m writing this, i have no idea, since no one reads my journal, but i have a need to say (or, i guess write... type... whatever, you get the point!) this. As a creative writer, i need an outlet for my creativity.i have way too many interests in which to uphold, and already i have had to give several of them up. If someone has a talent, it should never be squished down. And cliche, i know, but it should be nurtured and made to be the best it can be. Obviously interests like dog fighting and doing drugs should not, but all the same an interest, a talent, all can be used. Everyone has seen those cliche (i know, i like the word cliche, if you have another word for it please, share) movies where an adult has a successful career, i.e., they became CEO of a company at age thirty. It seems like their life is perfect, but it ends up not. That person is miserable. Then they go into this period of re-finding themselves, and end up quitting their jobs and doing what they really want, what makes them happy. Why should any of us have to go down this path at all? Just do what makes you happy in the first place and dont mess around. And for those people who say they have no talent.Everyone is good at something, not matter how minute or minuscule or unimportant it may seem. You should go to every length to do what you love. You can always find a productive outlet for it. Like knitting?Learn to knit useful things and sell them.Like singing?Join a band and rock out! Have fun. Be successful. Do what you do best. Thanks.
