The Wimp as a Sky
A Tsuna-centric and Tsuna/Kyoko fic.
Sawada Tsunayoshi never really accepted the fact he would cry every time he loses. He was once a wimp. When he was still suffered the bullying, he remembered ever loved the blue sky. Maybe it was because Tsuna was always laid on the ground, bleeding and bruised, stared at the blue sky above him.
Then he felt relaxed soon after.
But once, only once, Tsuna was beaten up real badly. His bloody nose made him dizzy, confusing him whether where is above and where is under. He wasn't able to stare at the sky to relax himself. All that he saw was the same sky, but covered by blood. It was his blood.
Tsuna stopped trusting the sky upon that event.
He chose to make his new wish; to be able to relax after seeing Sasagawa Kyoko-chan. She was and is his crush.
And it worked, eventually.
Every time he wished to run away from his classmate's bullies, Kyoko was nearby, giving him courage without herself knowing it.
They were like a pair without bond.
That happened hundred times, until Reborn came.
Tsuna never expected to be having a visit from an annoying baby that claimed to be a mafia. That baby was rather got in his nerve. Tsuna simply disliked him – or it;Tsuna didn't want to accept that the baby as a human as well as him and Kyoko.
But reborn gave him friends. But Reborn introduced him to Gokudera-kun. But Reborn threw him some bravery to talk to Yamamoto. But Reborn made a big family with his best friends. But Reborn came, and gave him memories to make with new people he never knew before.
Reborn also helped him to get closer with Kyoko.
He couldn't blame him.
That was why when he was told to be a Sky Bearer of Vongola Rings; he refused to say that he doesn't want to be called sky. He owed Reborn and his friends.
So, he was the sky. And forever will be the sky.
Even Kyoko had said something about it when they were dating in the park without telling anyone.
"You are really worth it to be the sky, Tsu-kun," she said softly as she leaned her head on his shoulder. "You are my sky. You are bright and warm."
Tsuna has sworn never to hurt himself again. He didn't want o fail of seeing sky ever again. He didn't want it to be dirty by his blood.
As what Reborn had said; "Protect your family. As well as yourself."
Tsuna held that sentence tightly inside of his pure heart.
He remembered when he married Kyoko, Reborn still treated him as if he was still in middle-school. He remembered when he went to date with Kyoko, reborn held the others back.
Reborn helped him.
And Kyoko gave him courage by loving him.
Tsuna was happy to be able to meet the two of them in the beginning of his life. And his live was merrier with the other family members were together with them.
Tsuna was happy to be called sky, since it was now means a lot for him.
Even until now, the sky was still blue.

Letting Go
Part 1 - Relenting
Hibari stood upright and firm, back pressed against the stiff looking wooden door, arms crossed.
"Tch."
I flinched. Hic cold voice shocked me like electricity.
He turned and left the room, leaving me in loneliness.
I lay in the hospital bed, oxygen mask on. My eyes half closed, I sighed.
Maybe… for me… the end… is the beginning…
I closed my eyes, thoughts of giving in overcame me.
"Don't go!"
"Princess! Don't! Stay… Alive…" His voice resounded through my mind; an empty shell vibrated.
He sounded so sad… and I could picture the tears trickling down, past his cheeks.
I felt like telling him not to worry, let me go. I might be happier that way.
There is always a new beginning at the end.
But I could not summon my will.
He sounded so helpless; I couldn't take it out of my conscience if I did it.
Why did he had to say those words? I couldn't bear to part now.
Why don't you just let me go?
Part 2 – Gone.
"Tsuna. You have to let go now. It has been 5 years. Even the doctors said that she will not wake up. Its time to move on," Hibari's voice approached Tsuna solemnly.
His head dropped. His face darkened.
"No."
"Tsuna!" Hibari almost shouted.
"No… I won't … I can't…" Tsuna broke down.
Hibari sighed. "Whatever suits you, decimo. Its your choice. You have up till midnight, though."
He walked out of the room.
"Princess… Wake up… Please…" Tsuna knelt on the floor next to the bed, clutching my hand, eyes tearing.
Hey… Don't cry…
I so very much wanted to say.
I heard everything. Hibari's right. You should forget about me and move on. I don't want to hold you down any longer.
You can do it, Tsuna.
The clock struck at midnight.
"Jyuudaime! Are you fine with this?" Gokudera asked.
"Tsuna…" Yamamoto said.
"Bossu…" Chrome whispered.
"Tsuna." Hibari looked at him.
Reborn tilted his hat downwards, covering his face.
Tears dropped from Tsuna's face.
He nodded.
That's right, Tsuna. I love you.
"Princess… I love you…"
Tears were now streaking down his face, dropping off his chin.
My facial muscles moved as Hibari turned off the life support.
As a tear rolled down my cheek, I smiled.
Thank you.
