Darkness sank into the apartment,
lights dimming outside as the steetlight flickered on,

love doomed by fate, as he tried to create his perfect life,
one impossible, no strife, torment and lies, death and ties,

the razors edge, cold and killing, sharp and strong,
leaves the marks, on the wrists so long,
the rope on above, the noose of love, strangling fact,
the broken pact, the empty side, nowhere to hide,
