Love.. Most people don’t even understand how deep and powerful this word is..
Shantelle understands because she has gone through it twice..
She may have loved those people but they didn’t love her
You see they don’t understand the word love
Shantelle thought they did but she was wrong
And she was wrong to believe them
In the end she was the one who got hurt badly
Just because she believed they really and truly loved her
Shantelle is growing up now and she doesn’t want to be loved by fakers
She wants true love but she knows that it will never happen
She is too nice and most people say ugly
Since Shantelle has low self esteem she believes them
No one knows the real her
Whenever she opens up she only gets hurt
She shut herself away from the world from the fakers
If there is true love out there only he can pierce through her shield
Only he can bring that smile to her face that has needed it
Only he can provide love for her and from her to him.
This is only a fantasy
Reality is much cruel and uncaring
It chews you up and spits you back out
Shantelle is trying to be strong but its not working
She’s slowly falling apart although no one realizes
She’s slowly dieing inside because she can’t get over
Over the pain that those fakers has brought to her..
Shantelle is not a mere human being that can be used
She has feelings too and most people seem to misunderstand
Because she’s too nice..
No one knows what she has been through and she won’t tell you..
She bottles up her feelings and although she writes poems
She cries to often she cries almost every night remembering..
Remembering those times when she was really and truly happy..
Love means something you naturally feel in the depths of your heart
Something you feel pounding and rushing through your veins
Something that makes you feels like you’re on fire
When you see your love you just want to go shout
Your eternal love for them..
But like all things.. Even good things must come to an end..
Love may be eternal but there is different kinds of love..
People who love you don’t rape you
Peole who love you don’t cheat
People who love you don’t break up with you.. for stupid things..
Love.. Powerful.. Eternal.. Deep..
Shantelle wants to love and be loved once more..
