I took Oreo,the boston terrier, for a quick run today. She sure did enjoy it...her eyes were bigger than usual when we came back home. Also, I took Kai, the ferret, to the park. Kai always draws attention from either curious or ignorant people, unfortunately the latter pertains to this specific instance. A few pre- adolescent boys were playing on the playground as the said,
"Hey...dude! What is that?"
-"Man that's a ferret."
-"Looks like a rat."
-"Shut up,man."
*Retarded Laughter*
The whole time I was thinking... "I can hear you, ya know" stare
I hate sprinting around the neighborhood because of the dogs that are never really on leashes that are constantly in front yards. Well...the thing of it is...they wear collars that shock them if they go out too far. But the wireless fence goes out to the middle of the street, meaning that they still bark and chase me as I pass by. I love dogs, but not the ones in this neighborhood. People should take their dogs for more walks so they they don't attack pedestrians. scream Enough of my rant. But I feel a lot better now. Great catharsis. I should do this more often.
