Masks
Our secrets are hidden
from ourselves we have ridden
the one that is truly ME
behind our masked we hide what is truly inside
talents and gifts
dreams or a wish
but the crowds we fear
because they will destroy what is deart
behind our masks we are different
without them we are bullied in an instant
so though we wear our masks day by day
our true selves are here to stay
