Who is a function following what...

I have a 1st gen Lyxander's...And until recently (when I gave up on it ever evolving again), a 1st gen Catastrophe.
I have waited about two months for both of these items to evolve...thinking: "Maybe next week. Maybe next week the update will come out." And each week I am disapointed, because they haven't evolved.
What is with that? I would understand the excuse of 'the artist is busy with work, etc,' but considereing there has been the: Overseer/Sentiel Cash Item, Noel's Gift, the October EI, and several other big items that have come out in the time when my two items HAVEN'T.
It's starting to seriously annoy me. I paid some actual money for the Journal, I want to see it evolve...The Catastrophe I bought with Gaia Gold (about 16K when I got it orginally). I wanted to see it evolve.
I hope the next set of evolutions on Lyxander's Journal, and the other multitude of EIs which seem to have been left by the wayside, are spectacular, otherwise you have seriously damaged all hope that I would invest my IRL money into Gaia.
