cut my wrist
The pain was too deep
I wanted my escape
Give me eternal sleep
As the blade touched my skin
The blood dripped to the floor
The tears came to my eyes
Remembering how my heart became tore
The days with you
Are now burned in my mind
Why did it come to this?
You were so sweet and so kind
I wanted you to be real
I didn't want you to lie
You lied about your love
Making me want to die
So many others have hurt me
Your love was the one I wanted to keep
These tears are a river
Leading me to eternal sleep
You came to me
Wanting to see if I was fine
You call my name
Your face turned white as mine
You realize you're too late
You kneel as you begin to weep
I can never be hurt again
For I am now in my eternal sleep
