"Alice? ALICE!" The teacher slammed the text book on her desk and Alice jumped out of her day dream to look at the teacher.
"Yes? Mrs. Lockheart?"
"Alice Answer the question, Why did Oliver make other people do what he was suppose to do?"
"Um... He was sick?"
The Students busted out laughing and Alice slid down in her sit fairly embarrassed by her answer. Mrs. Lockheart just shook her head and said "Alice you need to pay attention more and not look up at the clouds, it will get you no where."
Alice sighed and laid her head on the desk. she tried listening to the teacher but her eyes began to feel heavy, she yawned and continued to half hearted listen, until something white caught her eye. It was a white rabbit that had hopped by the door, it seemed to be in a hurry and Alice didn't want to be in the class so she decided to leave and follow it.
"Mrs. Lockheart can i go to the restroom?"
The teacher looked up and nodded then continued asking questions.
Alice got up and hurried out the room, towards the rabbit.
"Oh Mr. Rabbit?! Mr. Rabbit!" she called out but the rabbit seemed not to pay attention and continued to hop along down the hallways.
It had a red and black vest on with a golden trim and long coat tails trailing behind him, he also had a heart tattoo on his right cheek under his eye.
"Hm what a strange looking rabbit..." She said to herself.
The rabbit turned down a longer hallway that was only partly lit, it stopped at the edge of the darkness and turned to face Alice, Alice stopped a few feet from it and stared at the rabbit. His eyes were a golden rod color, they almost looked like cat eyes.
The rabbit pulled out a silver pocket watch and looked at it then freaked.
"MY WORD I'M GOING TO BE LATE! Hello miss. Goodbye Miss!" then he hopped off in to the darkness disappearing.
"Wait Mr. Rabbit what are you going to be late for! where are you going? MR RABBIT!" She followed in after him, not knowing where the darkness would spill her out in to. She traveled for what seemed like forever through the darkness. While walking she started to see strange things like backwards clocks, and upside down dolls sitting in upside down chairs. After awhile of walking she came upon a gigantic room with a small table in the center and the White rabbit hopping towards a tiny door, Alice ran after him calling for him but all he said was "I'm late miss I'm late can't you see that I'm late! No time to say hello goodbye I'm late miss I'm late I'm late"
"But Mr. Rabbit what are you late for?"
"Miss I'm so late! Please miss Don't bother me I don't want to be late! to be late means death for me! so Please Miss I'm LATE!" He said and bounded through the small door that shut behind him.
The Door was covered in bones and there was no handle just a skull in the middle of the door. Alice Searched the door for some way of opening it, the skull laughed making Alice jump back.
"Oh my what...what the hell?"
"Sorry mate?" The skull had an australian accent...and it was talking. which freaked Alice out even more.
"I must have accidentally locked myself..." the door laughed again
"um... well can you unlock yourself so i can go talk to the white rabbit?"
"HA! not with out the key mate!"
"Well Where is the key?"
The Skull motions to the empty table and Alice stands up and looks at it then turns back.
" There is no key here! what is this some kind of joke!"
"Humph No key? No Key?! what do you call that sitting on the table?"
Alice looked back and a silver skull key appears on the edge of the table.
"Huh? was that there before?" she shrugged a bit surprised but these picks up the key and bends down to unlock the tiny skull door, but the skull closes its mouth and shakes his head
"No no no! you can't fit through here, you need to get smaller!"
Alice stood up and huffed "How the hell am I suppose to get small? huh?"
" the box on the table of course"
She looked at the table and a small box of black cookies that had red letter on them that said 'Eat me'
Alice picked one up, putting the key in her pocket and examined the cookie.
"Mother always told me not to eat things that don't look good"
Then she shrugged and ate it, with in seconds she was as small as a mouse along with what ever she had on.
"OK I'm small now" She took out the bit sized key and showed it to him but he shook his head again.
"nope sorry can't unlock"
Now Alice was mad "WHAT! WHY NOT!"
"The key won't fit, its too small" he laughed and Alice threw down the key and started to cry. The dust the key stirred up rose to the skulls nose and he began inhaling preparing to sneeze, but to Alice in was like a vacuum the sucked her in and out the other side.
