Hey peoples, I was fooling around online and something popped up at me. It was a list for 21 sites you can see when you're sick of facebook. I was kinda curious on this and thought to look at it. Now some of these I'd heard of, but some of them I just never even thought there would be a site for them. Here's the list in order:
Bakespace Who it's for: Cooks of all ages, nice grannies.
Outdoorzy Who it's for: Outdoor enthusiasts from backpackers to windsurfers. Anyone who owns Tevas.
Going! Who it's for: Urban youth who like to go out and do stuff
Yelp Who it's for: People who read reviews, don't trust guidebooks, and have opinions
Dogster Who it's for: Spike, Buddy, and Chopmer. People who think 'Best In Show' is a documentary
DanceJam Who it's for: Poppers & Lockers, Krumpers, owners of Hammer pants, anyone who dances in front of their mirror.
Funny or Die Who It's For: SNL Fans, comedians, anyone bored and not easily offended
Snooth Who it's for: Friendly oenophiles
Geni Who it's For: Families, amateur historians, class projects 10 Twitter Who it's for: People on the run, lovers of brevity
CafeMom Who it's for: Those with children and those who are expecting 12 DeviantART Who it's for: Artists, no matter their medium or deviance
Horseland Who it's for: Equine and canine enthusiasts of all ages.
Last.fm Who it's for: Music lovers, especially the snobs
FilmCrave Who it's for: Movie buffs, haters of professional critics
LinkedIn Who it's for: The employed, the unemployed
Tagged Who it's for: Singles, adulterers
Meetup Who it's for: People who want to do something, anything
Buzznet Who it's for: People who love popular things, those who hope to be popular.
TimesPeople Who it's for: New York Times readers, obviously
Ravelry Who it's for: Knitting and crocheting enthusiasts, Snuggie haters
There, all 21 sites. Personally, I think they should've added more or changed/switched some, because some of these sites just don't seem that popular. They should give ones that apply to a bigger variety of people. But what do I know, I don't visit half these sites anyways.
Thanks for reading, there's my ramble for the day.
