I’ve waited for a while now,

You still haven’t said a thing,

To change this feeling,

You might not feel the same,

But this feeling will never change.

I’m still waiting,

Waiting for you,

To return this feeling,

Inside of me.

I fear, I cry, I pray,

For this feeling to be returned,

I lay at night wondering,

Why I feel this way,

When you’re not even worth it,

But I can’t help it,

This feeling is taking over me.

I think of you,

Everyday, every night,

It kills me inside,

To know you don’t feel the same,

It’s been a while now.

Shattered and broken,

I hold myself together,

So I don’t fall to pieces,

I smile, I laugh,

But it’s all an act,

To hide my sorrow, from you.
