Appreciates Dalish history, but also feels like reclaiming old stories and lost artifacts isn't really going to do much for them in the present, and cares much more about how elves are doing right now than restoring the way things were. That being said, she still believes in the elven gods, even if she isn't the most pious or faithful person.
Much less friendly with humans than other races. Does not shun city elves, believes that they did not choose to be born in the Alienage any more than she chose to be Dalish.

A natural leader, very loyal to her family and to Orzammar. Before Bhelen's betrayal she had a promising future as Orzammar's military leader, and she was content to let Trian lead, even though she didn't think he was necessarily right for the job. After Trian's death she becomes suspicious to everyone she meets, fearing they have ulterior motives.
She believes in the Stone and in the ancestors, and even after her exile she does her best to make her family proud.
