Auran
Alpha Head of the nocturns, and Naru's former brother whom he cut ties with. He took his place as Head after the massacre of their parents and household, brought their alliance onto a fearful height of rank above numerous populations, and earned the trust of his comrades to cast their eyes farther away from his untold story.
Zypher
A deceased priestess of the 享禄 Kyōroku Era, "heaven's favor", who took form of the sakura tree at every first blush of spring. Aside from her role as a guardian of the Kakitsu Temple and her duties, there were stories about an unsaid association between her and Auran during the time of her mortality.
