Anyways...in the interest of diving into the world of game making, I have downloaded some FOSS. But I didn't entirely understand GameMaker or FlashDevelop. I was about to give up when I came across Ren'Py. It's a program used to make visual novels (like choose your own adventure books). I'm working and experimenting with the coding system to see how it works and stuff. I have the feeling I'm going to have a lot of fun with Ren'Py. Once I feel like I have mastered Ren'Py, I hope to better understand either GameMaker or FlashDevelop.
In case you're wondering what's up with this, it's because my dream is to get a job in video game development. I'm in high school so I figured it's best to get a headstart. After all, dreams don't JUST happen; you have to make them come true! Keep checking my deviantArt profile, because I'm going to start updating it with information on my first VN, Stonegate Manor. It's gonna be real short since I'm using it to get a feel of how Ren'Py works. I hope to put out more interesting works later. And I hope that you may enjoy my work.
I will be continuing to upload art, and do speedpaints. I may even do a playthrough of my Ren'Py works when I finish them. So be sure to keep coming back and checking up on me.
