It's shut up tight
No breath of air
No light of day
Locked for none to see
It beats for none to hear
Eyes shut tight
And covered so well
Blinded by night
And covered by kerchief
She walks
One after another
Until both are numb
She walks
But hands so warm
Against her ice
Reveals her sight
So bright, so clean, so new
He holds her key
Within his own beats
Together they are free
