Today the Illusions paid a visit to Master Rauren, it looked sirius. It must have been, for the meeting went on for many many hours. I stood by Cainen in silence, he too looked as if he was worried, he knew more than me when it came to our race, but i knew something this important would have to wait for questions. Cainen must have noticed my puzzlement, because he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me in close, leaning down to whisper without taking his golden eyes off the meeting tent. "Everything is going to be fine my friend, nothing to think twice about." He released his arm from around me and went back to his usual stance. I sighed and slowly started to back away from the crowed, excusing myself once i brushed against them. Once i was out of the crowd i turned and ran towards the ressian forest, my only sanctuary.
The stream was running calm, the sounds of the water running over the rocks soothed my mind, i placed my feet in the way of a rock and watched the small waved swipe over the top of my feet. I loved coming to this place for the tranquility it brought, in such harsh times as we were experiencing, this was truly a place of serenity. The trees were large and healthy, the leaves were a dull golden brown and yellow color, sure signs of fall.
