So, today began a new school year at Tualatin High School, and this year I am a Sophomore. I thought it would be interesting, really, to begin a new year without my best friend. She and I got into a fight, so we're not speaking at the moment. We're not enemies, but we're not exactly friends (her words), and making eye contact is extremely awkward. Plus, we're both Thespians, we have most of the same friends, and we now have the same History class. Not to mention Tech Theatre. We both want to do Improv Troupe this year as well. You know what our problem is? We're too much alike to not be friends. Except she is an emo, and I'm a happy-go-lucky weirdo.
Anyway, I thought that this new year would suck, that I'd have to avoid things I love and friends I love so that she could have space. But, you know what? I don't give a damn. This morning, when I arrived at school, I showed up and was tackled by friends. I'm happy this year, even without my best friend. Having Jonny and Cera and Marin is quite great enough. And Hayley and I will have to get over the fact that we have classes together, and that we like the same things.
In other news, guess who's back this year? Micah. The damn b*****d who dumped me. Strangely, I didn't feel the urge to punch him in the face and then castrate him. I only felt extreme confusion, since he wasn't supposed to be at Tualatin this year. He had meant to go to a special program at PCC, but I guess he didn't get accepted. Same with Jenni, who also is here this year. I guess that they will have plenty of Techies again.
I have two science courses this year, and I plan on getting a fresh start with my entire life. I plan on devoting it to science, which is one of my true loves and the place where I can get money after college. I love acting, but it is counter productive at the moment, sadly. I also plan on getting all As this year! 4.0 GPA this year! WHOO!!!
