~Battle of Souls~
Empty silence spills through the sky
As screams of terror finally die
The hallowed god leads his angels to Hell
to bring havoc to where unsaintly beings dwell
The past is gone, there's no turning back
Death is immanent, the future is black
The doorway out, the distraction
Is no more than a light refraction
This unseen battle, the invisible fight
Continues on into the late night
Time stands still, there is none left to kill
As the winner stands, victorious, atop the bloodstained hill
