Yeah I have only posted in this thing once and I got a compliant about it sweatdrop So now I am going to post something I wrote. Bare with me it is simple but oh well.
She stood rubbing the skin of her arms as if bathing in the sweet, spring, morning air would take away the same impurities as bathing in water. She smiled as the sweet orchestra of birds hushed so that the melodious wind could run through the still mostly bare tree where they were roosting. Seemed like just yesterday it had been winter with its brown dead plants and frigid air, now green blossomed all around her. 'A picture just begging for a painter,' she thought to herself. The thought of the winter passed returned to her mind though. The year had just been born, only two or three months old and it was already spring. Winter had passed so fast, she was still not used to putting the new year in place of the old one on her papers. She decided not to dwell on the idea that she had basically missed Winter altogether. Winters were moving faster and faster with each year that passed by. That in its self wasn't all that bad. She didn't like much about father Winter. They had always disagreed about cold temperatures, snow, and sickness. He seemed to be for all and she got all the burden of each, especially sickness. Even if that was true, which her attendance record would prove it was, if winter passed faster then that meant spring, summer, and fall did also. Even for her laziness in the warm months they still passed. She let out a sight that was both sad and contented at the same time. She was just glad green was back. She had missed it so. When the first clover had appeared she had jumped for jo... The almost monstrous hunk of a dog known as either Mongo or Lil' brother had chosen this moment to snort on her legs, reminding her that he was still outside and on a chain. He knew she had come to release him from his lead, at least she had until she had went off into la-la land. She chuckled as he gave her a look that said wake up without the need for words. She knelled down, running a still very pale hand over his Australian shepherd and lab mix features as she unhooked the chain and then grabbed the collar at the same time. She had gotten good at this lately because her sweet Lil' brother was still a dog protecting his territory when he got free. Sadly, the wiener dog down the street had been the object of his righteous anger and even though he nor her other dog, a pure bred Aussie named Astra, had killed the small, annoying creature, they had ripped her up pretty bad. She never wanted a repeat f those events. The muscular dog ran, heedless of the hand around his collar. The force of him hitting the reach of her arm full on about knocked her over but she kept her ground then slowly led the excited beast to the door. With some maneuvering she had his hip trapped between her calf's (which sounds wrong but isn't you pervs) she reached inside the slotted windows of the screen door, releasing the hook lock before opening said door so the beast could go pounce, with non-existent grace, on his mother Astra. A cat so named Cally for her calico features bolted inside as well, causing a groan to exit her mouth. Even if the small, almost sickeningly skinny cat wasn't omitting that wretched mating call of hers now, she would later. That idea alone made the girl consider catching the cat then returning her to the grass beyond the pouch with a light toss, maybe getting some dynamite involved. A wicked grin exploded onto her face as she closed the door, re-locking it. She would never really do such a thing. She loved all the members of her family or more closer to her world, her pack. Cats with wretched mating habits and calls included. She turned her attention from the door and glanced over the two in one room. The couch, set at a slight angle separated the living room from the computer room. She noticed how cluttered it was, very cluttered, okay it was dirty. But she would always prefer the term lived in to dirty. Made it seem a lot better than it was. Especially right now since the dogs and cats were shedding and the vacuum was no help. Her real human little brother was sleeping on the couch, his Mohawk flat because of how he slept and her younger sister was at their father's computer, probably on youtube watching one anime or another. A very small twing of jealousy crossed her face. She was supposed to be the anime fan not Roh. She let the feeling go and it was replaced by one of silliness. She felt so foolish for having such feelings, but have them she did.
