One day in early Japan Nakisumi and Sayouri were out in the woods, looking for the moon drop flowers they so ador. " Hey Naki",
"yeah"
"When's the next full moon?"
"Tonight, don't you remember?"
"WHAT! Then I cant stay long!"
"WHy not?"
"Its a surprise", said Sayouri mystiviously, and as she said those words a demon swooped down and grabbed Nakisumi! "NAKI!"...... Sayouri grabbed her hand and whispered "don't let go.....we're in this together",
"Im sorry Sayouri but I've got to"
"YOU'LL DIE"
"....... i know"
Sayouri froze as she saw the demon hover above Naki with a demonic sword......realizing he had to lose the extra weight! "Good-bye Sayouri" whispered Naki.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" screamed Sayouri as she floated down with tears surrounding her.
"Child whats wrong," asked one of the elderly villagers,
"Naki....Naki...."
"Yes?"
"Naki was kidnapped by the demon lord", bawled Sayouri. "Oh no!" the elderly woman gathered all the villagers and told them the story. Meanwhile back to Naki......."Your going to kill me aren't you?"
"YES"
"Why"
"Because it is said that if a demon draws the blood of the purest creature in the world he will gain unbelievable powers"
"What does this have to do with me"
"You Naki are that creature" pronounced the demon!
Back with Sayouri, "Look some people on the road!" chimed a boy. A teenage girl, dog demon(Inuyasha) and a demon slayer came foward.
"Whats wrong" asked the young girl
"Oh a demon has just gone of with Naki please save her!" Pleaded Sayouri. "I don't know it could be a trap" retorted Inuyasha
"Well no way of knowing unless we go"
"Oh thankyou priestest" sang the villagers. Inuyasha and Mei the priestest(young girl) jumped on top of the demon slayers cat demon and flew away...."Which way did they go?"
"that way"
How do you know Inuyasha"
"I can smell them" he growled, and as hee said it they say a demon riding a giant demonic cloud with....... a human. "That must be them.... quietly get closer so I can get a clean shot", rang Mei.
"K" replied the demon slayer. As they neared the dmon Mei readed her bow and three sacred arrows, "OK here I go" she said as the arrows glided out of her hand.
Naki saw the arrows and just as they were about to hit the demon she jumped in front of them causing all three to hit her!
"Wha?"
"She took the arrows....WHY" questioned Mei, Naki raced down to the ground not aware of it though. Inuyasha caught her just before she fell and asked "Why...did you take the arrows?"
"So the demon or any others could gain unbelievable powers from my blood" Naki coughed out those words with her breath and there she died.
Inuyasha returned to the village with Naki in her crimson kimono and fire red hair in his arms.... when the villagers saw the item he held they mourned. Inuyasha laid her down on a bed of moon drop flowers and looked at the villagers, all he saw was dispair, sorrow, and lastly love. That night while others slept Sayouri crept out to Naki's body and sat by it...."I got you a special gift for tonight.....*sniffle* you would of loved it,well I'll open it for you." In the box contained an all white wolf with a black cresent on its forhead, is hopped out and licked Sayouri's hand then laid next to Nami......and as it did this a great light engulfed the two!
What appeared was Nakmi with silver hair, ears and a tail, wearing no longer a crimson kimono but one of white,and her eyes had turned to a glistening gray, beside her stood the wolf. "Sayouri...... thank you for saving me"
"Me!"
"Yes, if you had chosen not to come I'd be dead, and since you made me The Moon Goddess you and I can live where no harm can come to us"
"Where's that?"
"On th moon itself", and as she sang these words the three walked of together. Living Happily Ever After
Naki later became known as the MoonWolfGoddess to the villagers, and Sayouri they thought had run away unable to bear the pain.
