Travis sits tears rolling down his face, when decides that he must leave this place, he cant loose another loved one... He stands and walks toward the diner.
~Meanwhile~
Back at the hospital Evry sits Lily's bedside holding her hand, Knowing the end is near.
Lily: Evry? ... W-where is T-travis? H-how long was I sleeping?
Evry: Six days... *She looks down at her feet unable to look into Lily's sad, Dieing eyes*
Back at Fred's Diner, Travis sits at the counter waiting to say good bye to his best friend again.
Zoker: Hey! Travis! Haven't seen ya in awhile, Hows our lovely Lily?
Travis: Uhm.. Zoke, I'm leaving again....
Zoker: What? Why What about Li-
Travis: No, Don't say her name... *He pauses staring at zoker's shoes* She's going to die... I have to go. And this time... I'm never coming back... Good bye Zoke, I'll miss you and I'll never forget you.. *With that Travis gets up and walks away*
Zoker: *Calls after him sadly and angrily* WAIT! At least say good bye to her! If you just walk out like that... THAT'S WHAT YOU ALWAYS DID!
Travis walked up to the hill where he first met Lily... He could see the hospital... He headed down the hill.
Lily: I-I l-lovee y-youu Evry.. M-maa b-best f-friend... *Lily's voice was weak and faultering, she was dieing*
Evry started thinking of Travis.
Evry: I-I love you too Lil, but I must go... *with that Evry lightly dropped Lily's hand, kissed her forehead and left, looking for Travis.
Travis: EVRY! Hey... Uhm I'm-
Evry: You Must go to the hospitaal and see Lily... *She said it cooly and calmly as though Lily weren't about to be dead.
Travis: I was just on my way, thanks...
With that, Travis bolted toward the hospital. He wasn't really planning to go there, How could he tell her he was leaving forever? And because of her? No, he was going to tell Saphire of his departure. But something about Evry's voice and the way she looked at him...
Fifteen minutes later~~~~~~>>><<<>>><<<>>>!<<<!>>>
Travis could hear the beeping but he knew not what it was.
Travis: Lil? *Pause* Lil? *Longer pause* LILY? * EVEN LONGER PAUSE* No... No... NO!
He knew she was going to die but the shock of seeing her there, dead, that was excrutiating.
Travis:*Sits almost on top of her, leaning down laying his head on her throat and crying* No... Lil.. You can't be dead... Live fo me... Please.
He sat there just like that for what seemed like Eternity but was really almost a minute, when he heard a gasp. He sat up staring at her. waiting for her to move. BUT she didn't. He lay his head down on her chest. He heard something like a light thumping... A sound that could only be Lily's heartbeart. He stood. No way it was... He was imagining it. He leaned down and kissed the bridge of her nose.
He Turned."Travvviiss?"
Travis: LILY? *He leans down her eyes were slightly open. He can't help himself, he kisses he deeply. she doesn't kiss back. That would be WAY to much* B-but... You were dead!! B-but that doesn't matter! You're alive now! *He sits beside her and takes her hand*
Lily: Tr-raviss... Y-you must find a way t-to get me t-to sssilv-ver lake...
Travis: I will.
