The one whom remains by my side...
The one to whom, for me, forever smiles...
Her beauty, a beacon through the darkness.
Her touch as cold as ice...
As I reach out for her, I find myself frozen.
As I reach out for her, my fingers passing through her.
Solitude is such a sweet mistress... As she remains there, forever guiding you, forever watching over you. A sweet lover whom cares for you, whom smiles to you sorrowfully, wishing to take away your pain, though her touch is but a sad reminder. As she is nothing more then a spirit, one whom can only touch your soul and never your body.

Seeping away at the life within you, tears begin to rush to your eyes as her embrace rushes through your vein, as if snow poured through your very being... She remains there, forever by your side, ready to welcome you whenever you are lonely, ready to smile for you whenever you wish it... and always crying for you, for never can she remove the pain which is felt.

But this pain is alleviated... as this sweet mistress reminds you, you are not alone. She remains there, as a reminder that no matter where you are, what has happened, you are not truly alone... Perhaps lacking the touch of another, perhaps lacking the love of another... But never, can you be truly alone...

Now, I walk on forward, with my mistress by my side. A sorrowful smile upon my face, a nostalgic smile upon my face, she leans to me, her arm around mine, as I can feel my heart touched by her cold embrace once more, as her lips comes to mine.

Solitude is something very important in life, it makes you realize many things, but some people seek solitude, so to have time to think. Remember that there are many different ways that you can live your life, but you should not seek to be a hermit or anything of the sort, such a life is not exactly... the best of choices.

There are many different ways one is pushed into solitude, and many ways to get out of it. Just one thing though, when in solitude, one should never lose hope, remind yourself of those you love, your family, your friends and whatnot. If you have none, then simply hope, and keep holding unto your hope.

Life will be painful, but as time passes by, you will meet, that I can guarentee you, you will meet, if your heart still desires, someone whom can free you from your pain, someone whom can keep you company other then the solitude which invades you.

I myself had to live in solitude for a while, though I never was truly alone. My family was still with me, even though we aren't exactly the normal family stereotype, it was better then being fully alone. In the end, you can only try to escape, and to remember that sometimes, to truly escape is not to wait, but to try to aid someone else, to whom you will become a friend to.

Just don't get into any superficial relationships, these can often be worse then solitude.
