Linda opened her mouth as if to protest, when the door suddenly burst open. A dark figure darted across the room.
“Moon!” Cliff yelled sounding surprised. The dark figure landed on Cliff’s shoulder. It was a hawk! Linda had never seen one up so close before. She was so consentrated on the hawk that she didn’t even notice the man at the door until he started to loudly stumble into the room.
“Kuma!” shouted Cliff. Cliff ran to the strange man and started to ease him into a chair. The man was wearing a dark cloak that coverd him completely; on top of that, he was hung over and looked beat up. It wasn't until he took off his hood that she recognized him. It was the man from those dreams! The man with the bright red hair!
“We all thought tha' you were long gone.” said an old man.
“We were all so worried about you, Kuma!” another woman said. Soon everyone was shouting welcomes to this man named 'Kuma.' Linda just simply continued to sit there and wonder what in the world had happened now. On top of everything else that had occured, that is.
“Brother! I thought that they had taken you away for good this time...” Cliff said as he hugged Kuma and seemed to lightly cry. Linda was in shock. Brother? They were brothers! Linda was really confused now.
“I had a little help,” Kuma replied. He glanced over to the window. Outside it, there appeared to be a bear. It looked like a grizzly bear from what Linda could tell. Kuma looked back over at Linda.
“You must be the one that I summoned. I am Kuma of the girzzly bear Spirit.” Kuma’s voice sounded tired, and he looked like he could colapse at any moment.
“I thought that they had taken you away!” exclaimed Cliff. Linda couldn't help but wonder just who ‘they’ were. Just as she was about to ask, Kuma started to expain to her.
“He’s talking about the one's who want to kill the Spirits. They found me when I was summoning you...and I’m just going to say that they weren’t happy.” He almost seened to be laughing at them. “I still can't believe that they thought they could capture me.”
“I know that you're strong, but still, brother, can't you be a little more careful?” Cliff said with a hint of annoyance.
