The Blood Red Sunset
“The blood red sunset.” A sinister voice once said, as I
remembered while trying to sleep one night.
The blood red sunset I repeated in my head over and over again. As I lied awake trying to fall asleep I noticed my door was ajar. Then I heard a faint scream coming from my mother’s room! I panicked and ran into my little sisters room.
Then a handsome but evil looking man walks into the room.
It got quite and I began to think about this mans face.
He had brown hair, dark green eyes, a muscular body, and his face was all scratched up.
“ Yum! Two good looking morsels I can sink my teeth into” the man said.
Right there and then I realized that sinister voice!
‘Y-You!” I stuttered. “Me” he calmly called back.
As I was holding on to my little sister I began to remember that fateful day I met Mr. Maladok Mandorvok.
It was a calm winter night when I was walking home from the movies.
A man walks in front of me and begins talking.
Knowing me, I tend to listen to stories from just about anyone so I stopped and listened.
He told me how he lived in castle with only his servants to talk to, and that his wished for me to come and live with him.
I said no and began to walk away, he yelled at me his name and the sentence, the blood red sunset.
Then he disappeared into the black cold night.
The memory faded.
“What did you do to my mom you big meanie!” my little sister shouted. Maladok looked half dazed by these words.
Then he suddenly grabs my sister and me and plunges out the window.
All I remember of that night was hearing once again the blood red sunset.
“Miss? Miss wake up please!” a shy woman voice called out.
“What time is it” I mumbled.
“Tis’ 10-o-clock pm Miss” the woman said again.
I suddenly remembered that it was just 2 hours ago when Maladok came to my house.
“Where is my sister!?!” I shot right up saying.
“Will you be quite!” a man just came into the room. (Notes: that’s Daven)
“Linki stop touching her! She is not to be woken up!” the man yelled.
“Tis’ only trying to help the young lady Sir” she yelled. I just looked around the room instead of listening to their bickering.
The room had many shades of red mostly a deep blood red.
A blood red carpet, a deep gold queen sized bed, 5 armchairs, and one big black couch.
I was lying on the couch.
The room also had really old pictures and a gold rug and the walls were a darker red then I had ever seen!
I laid back down on the couch, when Maladok burst through the doors.
“Follow me!” he yelled and I obediently followed him.
We walk around the castle and ended up at a staircase, which obviously led to the dungeons.
The castle was dark except for Light items and torches.
Most of the castle had one long gold rug along the hallways and corridors.
Most of the doors were big and very heavy; each door was made out of wood and painted black.
As we went down, down and down the stairs I began to hear a little scream!
It got louder and louder and I finally noticed it was my little sister.
“Get her out of there!” I begged.
“Dear girl, she is my dinner you don’t expect me to let her go?” he chuckled.
His laugh was dark and cruel but I got sense he was being real with me.
“Dinner! No you can’t eat her Maladok you just can’t!” I screamed practically crying now.
“How did you now my name!” he questioned,
“You told me! You told me 10 months ago!” I yelled sobbing between words.
“You! You are that girl! Well it’s too late for your sister she will be dead soon!” and with that he grabbed my arm and pulled me up the stairs.
“Oww! You’re hurting me!” I was bawling my eyes out from sadness, madness, and pain.
“To bad you will have to learn pain like I did!” he yelled gritting his teeth but stopped gripping my arm.
As soon as I got into the room he locked the door and walked away silently.
I then noticed this was not the same room I woke up in.
“Hello miss” it was the lady who woke me up!
Then it hit me, this was no ordinary castle i looked at the facts and then I knew, I knew what was living in this castle!
When I woke up again everyone was asleep.
I crept out of the room for it was unlocked and began searching for the bathroom.
