So today was a Friday most like every other Friday to me...

OR WAS IT?!

See, I went to work today and I had your standard boring Friday when Dad suddenly calls me at work and asks what I thought about a 46" DLP HDTV and I said that it sounded quite awesome. That's when he dropped the bombshell on me that that was a good thing I liked it since he picked one up for me and he would be down after work to bring it and the stand to me.

Holy...s**t... eek

So Dad arrives and I get off of work at 10:00 PM and make my way to my apartment and eagerly drive to see this thing of beauty. I met Dad and we lugged everything upstairs and assembled the stand for the TV and then put the TV on. My Gord, you'd never seen something so beautiful before in your life. It brought tears of joy to my angsty eyes, it did.

So I get it set up and Dad leaves for home. I go back inside and start hooking up my gaming systems and my DVD player to it so I can test this puppy out. After about 15 minutes of TV watching though, something goes Horribly amiss. You see, white lines appeared vertically all over the TV and now it's unwatchable. So, I've got to get it replaced before I can really do anything and I'm left wanting HDTV goodness.

Damn you Sears...Damn you to Hell... crying
