So last night I'm thinking about recent events in life and thinking about the way school is going and I think I understand why it is that I can't get a girlfriend.

You see, I'm apparently not meant to have a girlfriend. See, Bishop was saying last week how all of us should be practicing 5 hours a day so as to eventually reach our potential as saxophonists and for that to happen, I would have to have less of a life than I do right now. That basically means that I couldn't have a girlfriend or any other friends if I wanted to practice like Bishop wants me to. Well basically I figure that life is trying to tell me that's what I should be doing since it's not possible for me to get a girlfriend and I do want to be a better saxophonist.

So no girlfriend for Chris and in exchange, I get to be a better saxophonist. I guess that means I get to be a lonely old coot who can rock the house on my horn.
