Tonight was the first dance of the school year for me. i would have liked to go, even though no one had asked me, but I was going out to a special dinner with family tonight. I was getting me stuff from my locker in the morning when my friend who is a guy came up to me and started talking to me about the friends of his that were going to play games and grab a bunch of food at the other room set aside for dance nights. I said I would have liked to go, but that I couldn't and told why. He then just said "oh" and after one last thing, walked away. My other friend who has a locker five spaces from me came up to me after he left. She said "He wanted to ask you to the dance! Did you hear how disapointed he was when you said you wouldn't be there?" She then just kept bothering me about whether or not I would have said yes or not. The only thing was, I wasn't really sure what I would have said anyway. I don't think I would have said yes, because he is just a friend of mine, but I'm still not sure whether I would have said no or that I would just see him in the game room. At least I can always wait untill the next dance. I can think it over untill then.
