Angel
Darkness…
Everything fades away forgotten.
I can’t see anything,
I can’t feel anything,
HELP ME!!!
Now I see a light in the dark,
A spot.
The darkness that consumed me slowly disappears
I have a vision of a hospital room
I perceive
//Room five/
My lucky number
And a cot with a family crowding it.
Then the darkness returns…
My vision fades like a tendril of warmth in the winter.
With the memory of the hospital scene I begin to fade away.
Then there is a tear and a transition and I am
In the room once more
Looking up.
Floating upwards I look down
And come to the realization that
I
Am
Dead
!
Then the woman
My mother
Looks up at me as if she can sense me
Her makeup smeared,
Her hair tousled
Her eyes red
She looks at me, and in that moment
She is
Divinely beautiful
My benefactor in all ways of life
And even into death
For she was the one who helped me from the brink with her devotion
She was the one who went that extra mile to keep my mortal soul from fading
Into the darkness…
I float up , through the ceiling through the building, over the city, above the clouds
Until I leave the world of the physical and enter the spiritual
Along with the hearts and minds of many
And I was sent back down
To live in my body once more
I was sent back down not because I did something to anger the residents of the realm of hearts
I was sent back down as a testimony
A testimony to the fact that
Even after death what you have done still has heft
You won’t escape debt of a kind
But there is a way to gain access to the wonders of all that is “good”
When a bond of mutual true love is shared
A phenomenon not restricted to “lovers”
The road of joy is not only opened but created anew
Loved
Ones
Hold
The key
To
The true
Pure
Untainted by talks of ethics and religion
Kingdom of heaven.
