okay?BEGIN THE FAN-FIC ALREADY!!! GOSH!!!

When I woke up, I was in a white room, laying on a bed with white sheets. At first I thought it was my room at Sakura's house. But after I looked around I saw other beds just like the one I was laying in. My bed was right next to the wall, and it had 2 chairs between it and the wall. Takeya had fallen asleep in one, and Naruto was sleeping (and snoring) in the other chair. I tryed to push myself into sitting position, but I couldn't. I was attatched to the bed. My chest was still painfully throbbing, and my chest was wrapped in white bandages.
Takeya awoke slowly, blinking his eyes to adjust to the bright lights in the room. He looked at me sleepily, and his eyes widened. "Naruto! Dude, she's up!" He shook Naruto, until he stopped snoring and woke up.
"Whoa!" Naruto got up, whiped the dried spit off of his cheek from drooling, and yawned. "You okay Kaoru?" I smiled and nodded, even though it wasn't true. My eyes were still red, so Takeya knew I was fibbing.
"Kaoru, they said you cracked some ribs when you hit that tree, and something else..." Takeya's voice trailed off, and I wondered what the 'something else' was. "We've been worried sick! Sasuke, Sakura, Hinata and Kakashi must have visited you at least, I don't know, 10 times or so within the past few days."
"Wait, what? I've been here fo..." I stopped mid-sentence because I couldn't talk again. Naruto and Takeya looked at me, with panicky looks on their faces. "Guys really," I took a deep breath, "I'm fine..."
"Kaoru," Naruto said quietly, "you've been here for 3 days. They, the nurses, said you won't be able to leave until you've been here a week."
I was awestruck. ~Why the ******** am I getting so dizzy lately? It's so weird.~
"Hinata and everyone actually came to visit me?" I asked really quietly. I stared at the ceiling.
"Yeah. Hinata came with Naruto the day after Kakashi and Naruto brought you here." Takeya sighed, he still seemed tired. "Sakura and Sasuke came everyday. Hinata's been visiting 3 times a day. Kakashi's been visiting with other people everyday too, because he had to tell everyone else why we were all gone."
~So everyone knows that I'm here. Great. That ought to help.~ (ps that was sarcasm)
"Kaoru," Naruto asked, "Did I hurt you?" I didn't know what he ment. ~He saved me...why would he be asking if he hurt me?~
"Naruto, you saved me. I'd probably be almost dead if you hadn't caught me." I managed a smile. "Thanks for saving my life. I owe ya one."
"No problem!" He smiled in his usual tone. I could tell he was happy.
I tried to sit up. I moved my arms so they were bent, ready to push me up. ~1, 2, 2 and 1/2...3.~ I strained all of my arm muscles and finally I was sitting up.
"Whoa! You're not supposed to be doing that yet!" Takeya flipped out.
"Guess I'm just a quick healer!" I smiled, because the pain was, very very slowly, receeding. (sp?) Takeya ran out of the room to get the doctor, which left me alone with Naruto. I took a peek under my blankets to see if I was still wearing my clothes. ~Yay! Maybe I can stand up...~ My clothes were somewhat dirty and you could see some of the bandages poking out of the bottom of my shirt.
I swung my legs out of my bed and tried to stand. My legs were weak, from not using them for 3 days, so I crumpled. Naruto grabbed my arm and pulled me up before I hit the floor.
"Thanks." I pushed his hand off of my arm and I walked to the end of my bed. "Ta-da!" I threw my hands up in the air and smiled. Naruto laughed. "Hey why are you laughing Tomato Juice?" He seemed shocked that I remembered his nickname I gave him.
"Don't call me that." Naruto said flatly.
"Awwwwwwwwwwwwww.....why not? Please?"
"No."
"Too bad! So what were you laughing about Tomato Juice???"
Naruto paused. "It's just you were acting really quiet and shy a second ago and now you're back to normal. It's good to have the old Kaoru back! BELIEVE IT!"
I smiled. Just then Takeya walked into the room with the doctor.
"Now what're you doing?!" Takeya said overprotectively. "You aren't supposed to be able to walk or sit up for two more days!!!"
"Oh...well excuuuuse me!" I sat back down on my bed and looked at him. "Is this better?"
He laughed. "I wasn't mad. I was happy!" He ran over to me and hugged me. The doctor walked over to us.
"Excuse me. Kaoru?" She looked at me. I nodded. "You'll have to wear your bandages for another week. You shouldn't need to take them off at any time. You may leave, because I hear there's a surprise for you." She winked and left the room. What she said was registering in my head. ~Okay, don't take of the bandages for another week, there's a surprise for me...wait...WHAT?!?!~
