My grade eight year has been amazing: the good and the bad. (Most of my year was positive there was just one fight and I'm still not friends with my opponent... makes me sad...). Well, it's over. Highschool here I come. But I don't want to go. At the beginning of the year I couldn't wait to leave... but now, *sigh* it's come to quick! This year has flown by like no tomorrow and there's nothing to slow it down... Oh my god that reminds me of a song i have to sing there tonight:
Title: Friends Forever By: Vitamin C
I'm so nervous but it's not just me singing: There's me, my best friend Karlee, and my other friend Kelly. Then we have a cute sweetheart Jordan on bass guitar, and a hot jerk Tanner (god I hate him) on acustic (sp?). (I asked Tanner out last year when he was nice but he said we were only going to be friends. Broke my heart cause I liked him as far back as I can remember. Until now that is biggrin ) We also have Ashley on the drums... god she's annoying... but she was born to play the drums. And then Emily is on the flute; we ain't so close but we're still friends and she's cool and man can she dance. And finally Mr. Woodland is on the keyboard but I don't care muahaha. Ahem.
Well back on track. I think this year should have been changed a bit. The end of it anyways: The 2 grade 8 classes just got back from Camp Celtic; best experience ever if you subtract some snobby girl councellers (sp?), the bugs and the early mornings. But we just got back yesterday, and now, we're having grad tonight! So now we're all mosquito bitten and sun burned. Mrs. Baxter (I'll miss her the most out of the teachers) says we'll still look amazing. and now that my hair is done, I can't help but agree. I'm not being snobby or self centered I just think everyone will look amazing (plus, my hair is springy and... SPARKLY!).
Well that's all for now... wish me luck! God knows I'm gonna cry...
