Looking at Rose, I said, "Rose, this is Eria. Eria, Rose.
Rose nodded to Eria with a cautious smile.
Bowing, Eria said, "Hello Rose. Dragon, when did you get your swords?"
Feeling the Dinos on my back, I said, "Um...they were just there just now..."
"Interesting," Eria said.
"Very," I replied, looking down the hall from where the saw blade had come from. "You two stay here. I'll be back."
Quietly drawing my swords, I swung them around to loosen my wrists. Twitching my left ear, I leapt away from the wall and scissored the Dinos up in time to deflect a broad sword that flew out of the darkness at my neck. Driving the weapon down and to the right, I fought the invisible force that attempted to bring it upward.
Kicking at the force with my right foot, I spun on my left, to make the barbed ends of Slinky to fly into the air at 90-degree angles to my head. Feeling one of the ends catch then the other, I spun the Dinos into the air and grabed the excess chain and yanked forward. Catching the dinos as they spun back towards the ground, I drove them into the stomach of a creature I never thought I would have seen outside of my nightmares. Looking past it, I saw two more exactly like it rising out of the shadows.
Suddenly recognizing these for what they were, I yelled to Rose and Eria, "GET OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GET HELP! THE DYLOS ARE HERE!!!"
Growling, I slowly spun to face each of the Dylos around me. "You want me? COME GET ME!"
I don't remember much of the fight other than it was fast, dirty, and bloody. After a while, I sank to my knees covered not only in my blood, but in the blood of maybe ten thousand dylos--which were laying about me. Looking up, I saw Eria and Rose running up with Koopa. Raising a hand in greeting, I fainted from exaustion and blood loss.
