wahmbulance Warning Rant Ahead!! wahmbulance

Alright, I like getting a regular paycheck. That is fantastic and all, but only getting tow or three days a week with three to four hour shifts is ridiculous!! I've got rent that I pay weekly, bills that need paying, and people that I've borrowed money from and need to pay back. My last paycheck was about fifty-four dollars. My rent is 125/week, I owe the cable company 115 from the last billing cycle, and I owe my mother 40 for the money I borrowed from her because I had overdrawn my account.

Does this seem a little too stupid? The woman doing my schedule now says "I want to give you hours, but you really need to work on your speed." I can't work on my speed serving customers if I'm sitting at home. It's just not possible. I've been working my butt off, making sure that the shift after me doesn't have to put up with the s**t that I forgot to do, or has a mountain of dishes to deal with while they are trying to serve people at the counter. I do the dishes, I fill the sauces and I take the trash out. Two out of the three are my responsibility to do before I leave. I can't do them while I'm alone because the bosses don't want us leaving the front vacant...but all the space to do these said things are located out of the view of the public.

Then we get the stupid people that think we are out back just hanging out. They don't wait two seconds before calling "hello" like we're ignoring them. Lady I've got my hands full at the moment and I'm the only person here. Two seconds isn't going to ******** with your day the way you think it will!!

The other day it snowed. My "new" car is a '99 Chevy Camaro, good in the snow and slush it is not. I've been able to manage until then. I hit a patch of slush and slid over the median and up onto the curb. I'm actually glad there was a pile of snow there because after the curb there's a drop into a swamp. And I would not have liked to end up there in the winter...no thank you.
